I get excited about trying new supplements, but ultimately, most of them end up going unnoticed or don't do much. These, however, were a pleasant surprise!I haven't been taking them a long time, but I notice a huge difference after taking them! Especially when combined with exercise, my mood was through the roof! I couldn't believe how content and happy I felt. It reminded me of when I initially took antidepressants back in the day (before all the side effects). It is a big enough difference just taking 1 that I notice every time I take it.I didn't realize other people took it multiple times throughout the day, and I will likely be trying that next as it didn't seem to last the whole day, but if it continues to work like this, I'm perfectly fine with that.Can't say enough good things about this, very impressed!

Pure Encapsulations is a fantastic brand that I have come to rely on for supplements. I just started taking this Lithium Orotate so I can’t comment yet on the effectiveness. I happened to come across someone talking about this supplement online and did some additional research. It was not something I had ever heard of and I’ve been in the field of mental health for many years. This was never on my radar. I have struggled with anxiety and depression for years and have never done well on traditional antidepressants. I’m now in perimenopause and have really been struggling with my mood- irritability, low stress tolerance, in addition to depression. I’m praying this gives me some relief.

I am an evangelist for Lithium Orotate. It changed my life and I try tell everyone! A little background: I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis along with non-Addison's adrenal insufficiency. This makes me very tired, very anxious and very irritable. I overreact to EVERYTHING! My dr recommend this to me at my very first visit after reviewing my anxiety and other symptoms. This OTC trace mineral helps me not react to the little things so I can focus on whats important at work and at home. Its a warm hug for my nerves. Lithium rotate in small doses is nothing like lithium carbonate that is used in rx mega doses for bipolar, anxiety etc. I experience no negative side effects when I take this. I feel like myself before I started having thyroid and adrenal issues - calm, nice, clear minded. I do not feel like I've had a lobotomy when I take LO. I take 5 mg on busy days and up to 15 mg (spaced throughout the day) on hectic, jam packed days. If I wake up in the middle of the night I take 5 mg to calm my racing mind and go back to sleep.

It certainly works, but I found that this dosage made me feel zombie-like and a bit dissociative and spacey. If you are sensitive to supplements/substances, start at 1mg and go up from there.

oh year, all of society should be taking a low dose of this! helped my 19 year old son be able to be a real competitor in golf tournaments. helps my husband with anxiety and throwing out jumpy questions and be less irritable. and helps me the most, as I have mood swing problems, have to focus on not being controlling and critical, especially to my husband. and helps me with anxiety and anger. it is one of those little miracle minerals that no one will tell you about, but you need it more than anything. kind of like sulfur/msm for flexibility, detoxification, and joint health. WHY WONT THE DOCTORS GET ON BOARD WITH THESE NATURAL/SIMPLE FIXES? guess they do prescribe lithium, but in dangerously high doses. with these, everyone in my family just takes two per day, which is a very low dose of 10 mg and we get all the results we need with that low of a dose. ive heard the doctors prescribe 190 mg. it really has the ability to calm me. so I can always take a couple more if I get in a real emotional meltdown. such peace of mind, knowing that I am in control of my emotions now and with this and god, I will always be rational.

Great supplement.

This seems to calm the heart and nerves, as I've used it before. However this bottle sat in the mailbox in 90 degree heat for a while and was extremely hot when I got it. I don't know if it is still good?

I take two every 4/6 hours and I can really tell the difference in my moods. I’ve noticed im happier and it’s harder to be affected by something small that would normally push me over the edgeI am on seroquel as well so I’m mostly just here but adding the lithium to the mix did the job just right!
