One of the things that is generally overlooked is long term storage of lipo batteries. there were over 25,000 incidents of fire or overheating involving lithium-ion batteries between 2017 and 2022 though it is not something we think about too often.I finally few days ago decided it is about time to store my lipo batteries safely and these boxes are perfect for the job. I have put the batteries in a firer resistant bag and put the bag inside of one of these boxes. i have NOT fully sealed the metal box and it is partially open so in case of a fire it can vent and would not lead to a pressure buildup.These boxes are well made, sturdy and easy to handle. when ever I need to move my storage, I close it shut move it and unseal it again for air flow when done moving it. also it looks nice and sits well in the storage.

A sturdy ammo can. It didn't have any rust and the lid closes tight.

The gasket works. I bought this as a mountain geocache box. I had the box closed when driving from 1 mile to 2 miles in elevation. Upon opening it the box made an audible hiss of the pressure difference. I closed it and carried it a further mile up a mountain and left it there for several months. Upon returning months later the box made a similar 'hiss' from the pressure difference of my original ascent between 2 miles and 3 miles in elevation after months of being closed it still held the same lower altitude air of months before. So the gasket seal worked perfect, which was my biggest concern before purchasing. Nice sturdy ammo box. The side handle was 'loose' compared to a previous box of the same appearance I'd had which was hard to move and you could leave the side handle 'up'. That literally could be different in every produced unit though based on the metal and coating so I don't attribute that much to the manufacturer.

I have 12 of these 50 cal cans for ammo storage. They are great for storing my bulk supply. They are sturdy, look good, and stack neatly in my house.

Guys just make sure to keep in mind this is made in China, I decided to buy this one after comparing reviews and finding the most affordable and balanced out quality Ammo Can that differs from the plastic ones that will most likely crack and bend after what I intent to use it for. I keep all of my Airrifle .177 and .22 cal tin cans of pellets in the ammo can and it keeps it all enclosed in one place safe from misplacing things. I will update on how it holds, but I have about 20 lbs of pellets In entirety within the ammo can and it makes it convenient to hold my ammo in there when I need to carry it to the spot where I plink at with buddies. I think its going to make a good impression on my buddies when I take this out and show it to them, easier to locate and store pellets, rather than what I used to do with a reusable shopping bag. 4/5 starsJust wish this was made in the United States at it has a Made in China Sticker.

These feel sturdy. Latch is a firm-ish engagement, that seals all around w the rubber gasket. This has to be the long term fail/wear point, the gasket. Keep that in good shape & would imagine these to last a long time. Fully loaded, she’s heavy… from a comfort perspective, it would be nice to have the handles slightly curved, but I don’t know if that would weaken them or possibly interfere w stacking (these stack on top of each other w a cutout on the bottom for the handle). Doesn’t smell. I like them.
