I love it!
I had a bush now for several years but then lost it on a trip to Africa. Frankly I did not want to spend a small fortune for some thing I only used on occasion so I just didn’t bother replacing it and went without for several years. Then I purchased a new crossbow a CP 400 that was giving me genuinely authentic shots out to 100 yards and I thought man I’ve got to have a new rangefinder. I did some research I ran across this one the price was certainly reasonable and as it turns out it’s a outstanding product works well it’s accurate fits really nice in your hand and it’s a great companion for my new crossbow. If you’re looking for accuracy and great economics had a decent price look no further.

Very Pleased! Saved $$ with this purchase!
Compact size, accurate readings at realistic hunting ranges, comes with a battery. Easy to use. Fast “On”. Bow and .22 Long Rifle shooter’s delight for zero, ranging and hunting. Bests estimating ranges by steps. Some users mentioned having problems using this device wearing glasses. I was able to use it wearing glasses, although I did have to press them close to my face. I tried it out at dusk to simulate ranging near the end of legal hunting hours. No problems. Yes, the aiming box was sometimes hard to see, but not enough to downgrade my rating. One reviewer suggested tilting the device towards a brighter background to read results and this worked great for low light conditions. I was able to range livestock and tree trunks well past 100 yds easily. 450 yds was no problem with a large enough object to reflect the laser light back to the unit. Suggest ranging known landmarks in advance if low light/range is an issue. My first laser rangefinder purchase after much research. Would highly recommend this item/brand and will consider it as a future gift purchase!

Really great for my purposes
My usage is for target archery, field courses with clear windows in the woods, and a 3d course with more bushes between me and the target. I am really pleased with how this is working! The yardages are consistent from day to day and with the targets that are marked. The magnification is 4x I believe, not a lot but enough I have to pay attention to holding steady on the target so I don't get a reading for a closer branch or log instead of the target. Some lighting conditions it's definitely hard to read but it's worked ok for my purposes so far. One star off, might be my fault, but I thought I read in the description that one of the settings would show the shooting distance accounting for the elevation change to the target, but both the yardage settings show the exact same distance, with one showing angle of slope. So I don't think it's telling me the distance to shoot with an uphill or downhill, but I'm actually not sure. Still, it's very useful to me and a pleasure to use. I wish it came with a bit sturdier strap instead of the tiny cord through the device that connects to the larger strap, really common these days. A wrist strap is not useful to me since I'm not going to wear it on my wrist while shooting, so I have to figure out a better way to carry it somehow when the weather warms up and I don't have a vest pocket for it. Anyway, overall I'm pleased and feel it's very functional for me for the price.

Worked perfect for archery & even with eyeglasses
First if you are a long time eyeglass wearer, you will easily find the right eye relief. The pic is me using iPhone trying to demonstrate its ability to calculate range & angle from treestand. I read somewhere it won’t calc the distance, but it did within a yard.I was hunting a new area and had very little time to prescout the area. I wanted to range up to 70 yards to 100 yards. I shopped around, looked at some of the other more expensive manufacturers and models, I wasn’t feeling putting down that kind of money.I saw the camo model go on sale in some of the sporting goods stores but for about 30% more than this one. They appeared to have all the same features, except color.I figured I take the risk through Amazon on this model and it was not a budget buster being less than $100. And even though it’s not camo, really does that matter?I took it with me the last couple of weeks of archery season here in Florida. It worked well in both low light and in the bright Florida mid-day sunshine.I had some pre-measured range distances from the ground and this calculated the distance and angle from the stand. I had a young turkey and small bobcat that I used this to try measurements of moving targets (not running) and this worked fine.My opinion this is worth the money and worked as well or better than the $300-$500 models out there.

Great for my needs and didn't break the bank.
Used this on a recent hunting trip. Distances measured matched up with the distances given by the guides. Compared distances with my buddy's range finder and they were within a yard or two of each other. Display is clear and easy to read. I played around with these when I first got them and while the unit isn't lit, if what you're distancing is lit up you may be able to read the display in low light/night. I was able to distance a car under a streetlight down the street at night. The reviews seemed mixed on this but I'm glad I snatched it up when it was a deal of the day. Came in handy on the hunt. I was able to get some readings of 453ish meters but that was the max I saw which is fine since this claims only 450m capability. The controls are easy it's only 2 buttons. 1 changes the modes yards, yards with angle, meters, and meters with angle. The other turns it on and is used to get the distance. Focus ring works well too.Really hard to get a picture of it in action but I tried.
