Very Pleased (and I had problems)
I purchased the X-95 unit to dehumidify my very wet detached garage. I like the unit and it is now performing well. But I had a number of problems, most specific to my own situation, which Avalla has been very helpful in solving through their customer service email contact page on the website.First problem - I had not appreciated prior to purchase that this unit, like all the others on the consumer market, are not designed to function effectively in very cold spaces. My garage is unheated and the unit was not very effective when I started using it in late January (in the UK). I solved this problem by putting in an electric heater for a few weeks until the major problem with condensation dripping from the roof was solved. The second problem involved setting up the drainage hose so it would work properly. I passed the hose (which was provided with the unit) through a wall to the outside and placed the end of it in a bucket so I could confirm that it was working as well at it had when it was draining to its internal tank. It was my hope that I could observe the water collecting in the bucket. I had not anticipated that once the end of the hose was under water a back pressure would develop which inhibited the water from draining down the hose and sent it instead into the internal collection tank. Once I took the hose out of the bucket and let it drain onto the ground this problem went away. Customer service was very helpful as I struggled to figure this one out.If I could change one thing on the unit I would re-design the internal collection tank to make it easier to pull out. I find it a bit awkward to do with two hands. I have not compared with other brands to see if their tank removal process is easier. For all I know they may be harder.I also appreciate that the company is using the most advanced and environmentally friendly refrigerants. This is one feature which attracted me to the unit. So I was a bit dismayed when I unpacked the unit to find that the packaging uses environmentally very unfriendly styrofoam. I did mention this to the customer service team and they told this that the company was planning to rectify this soon and change the way the unit is packaged. No dates were given but it appears to be a high priority for them. One other thing which would improve the start up experience. I think there should be a QR code at the beginning of the manual that links to a video quick setup guide. This is so easy to do these days with nearly everyone having a smart phone. It would be great if there were two videos - A quick setup guide and a separate detailed operations guide. I think a lot of people are like me and hate reading user manuals. It is rare to find one that is well written (sadly Avalla’s is not) and it is so much more effective to have it well explained with benefit of video. For a company which clearly does take customer service seriously this would seem to be a natural.I enjoy checking the digital humidity percentage display on the unit each time I go into my garage. When I started using the X-95 it was reading over 95%. After some months of operation it is now down in the mid 40%. The items I have stored are no longer growing mold. I am very pleased.

Pretty good!
I'm quite happy with this dehumidifier... it's happily removing about 5L a day from a small room on the side of my house that I use for woodworking projects. I've been using a lot of polyurethane varnish which has been taking an age to dry in there (like several days instead of the expected 24 hours). This has really helped. I've run it in the house too whilst stripping wallpaper with a steamer and then repainting the walls.. it really helped. I can't speak for the longevity as I've only had it about a month or so but it's been running pretty much 24x7 during that time and seems fine. I hope it continues working for a long time.If I had to criticise anything I'd say there's a few niggles on the controls and how they're described in the manual (night mode for example, the manual says something like 'press the button to toggle' but actually it seems to be 'press to turn on, double press to turn off') but I figured it out. The air filter especially and to a lesser extent the water bucket can be a bit tricky to line up when you're putting them back in - they don't seem to want to click back in smoothly but you get used to it.But to be fair, for the money paid compared to other brands, and to get a proper refrigerant/compressor based unit I'm delighted... it's doing what I wanted and the overall impression is of pretty good quality. As I say, I just hope it lasts the course (unlike so many things these days which don't). Thankyou Avalla... company does seem to care about customer's experience too which is a plus.

Brilliant product
I’ve had this thing for over and year and had it on continuously. The tank fills up quick so I hooked it up to a 10L tank and empty it just under once a week at worst. Clean the air intake once every 2 weeks. Brilliant product. Drys my clothes so fast and keeps the house damp free and warm. Would recommend and have recommended to many people

Highly recommend
I’ve had this dehumidifier for almost a year now. I specifically needed it for my bedroom as humidity was really high and causing mould. The winter season is especially when humidity levels are really high and even higher when drying clothes. The windows were consistently always drenched in condensation even with the window open.Since using the dehumidifier, it took about a week initially to really bring down the humidity levels, and after that week it slowly brought it down to a good level. Throughout the winter season, the humidity has completely reduced and I was no longer seeing any condensation on the windows, even when drying clothes. The dehumidifier helped to clear the moisture and brought down drying time. The only con for me is that even on the low setting, it was still too loud for me to sleep with it on (I am a very light sleeper). Therefore, I could only use it during the day and turn it off before bed.Despite the sound and only having it on during the day (up to 12 hours a day), I have had no issues with humidity or moisture in the air. The room even felt warmer in the cold winter nights. The cost of running it, is minimal.Overall, I highly recommend this dehumidifier. I mould treated my bedroom and haven’t seen any mould return and the air even feels cleaner. It is easy to use. It is a good size and performs really well. The clothes drying setting is good for the summer days when you don’t want to have the heater on.
