These are perfectly fine...
..for my use, which is to fold one in half and use it for my to-do list and quick notes throughout the day. Since many people here use these for flash cards, I've included a few pictures showing how the ink of various popular pens write on the card and how much they do or do not show through under various lighting conditions. I would think that heavier card stock would be a better choice for that particular usage. And while I didn't try it, from prior experience I would suspect that that fountain pen ink would tend to bleed and possibly feather. At the end of the day, for this price I think these are a fine value.

Great Database for contacts
I have a cordless landline, and it only remembers 99 contacts. These index cards more than compensate by holding 500 contacts comfortably, and the never, ever, never crash during a power outage. Pro-tip.. make the contact title line the phone number, and arrange in numerical order to help with caller id.
