Amazing product. Great size if you like your Crucifix a bit bigger. Really solid material and the depictions on the back are very nice and detailed. Not cheap pewter, doesn't dent or smash easily. Great buy, will buy more to gift to family and friends.

I bought this crucifix to replace one on a rosary of mine. I love this crucifix. The design is beautiful, and the look of sterling is good (I don't remember if it's sterling or not, but probably not). But it is quite large, so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Still, I'm going to use it. I highly recommend this, bearing in mind that it is larger than most.

After discovering Stations of the Cross can be prayed (and indulgences connected to them received) on handheld Stations crucifixes, I bought samples of as many types as I could find online. I quickly discovered, however, that (1) few of any type are made, and (2) most are poor quality.The best Stations crucifixes across the board were made of embossed metal and/or solid olive wood (a strikingly beautiful exotic wood with rich-looking twisted orange, brown and black wood ribbons). Some of the most beautiful were either 100% metal or else metal overlaying olive wood crosses.Of those small enough to be handheld, whether attached to a Stations of a Cross rosary or simply held in your hand (2-8”), only two met my standard for quality, cost and usefulness. This crucifix was one.About 2” in length, they are 100% silver metal with all 14 Stations clearly embossed on back. Despite the small size, I have no problem discerning the station depicted in each picture.The fact that they come in packages of 3 makes them a great deal. It’s why I ordered 36 of them! Though I plan to use a few to create handmade Stations rosaries, it’s far easier to simply replace ordinary crucifixes attached to Stations rosaries with these.As to why we would do this, our priest explained that where handheld devotions are concerned, indulgences attached to praying Stations are always connected to the crucifix itself. No Stations crucifix means no indulgences.

My only complaint is they're a bit large for a rosary, but I guess that's a fair trade off for how much I love the detail.
