Why Do You Need Noise Reduction Hearing Protector?According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), extended exposure to noises over 70dB (decibels) can lead to permanent hearing loss This includes activities like using a gas-powered lawn mower, or riding a motorcycle. The dangers of hearing loss are all too real with over 20 million U.S. workers being exposed to hazardous levels of noise at their workplace each year. About 20% of those people end up with serious hearing loss. Hearing protection should be taken seriously especially if your workplace has high levels of noise. And Our earmuffs are your top pick for hearing protectionRugged ConstructionThe ABS outer shell of the ear cup is tough, wear-resistant, and impact-resistant. It can withstand tough conditions and won't during long-term use.Noise Reduction Rating (NRR)Single Number Rating (SNR)The Noise Reduction Rating, or NRR for short, is the hearing protection device’s ability to reduce or attenuate the incoming external noise to the ear.The NRR is the standard for hearing protection attenuation across North America, the Single Number Rating (SNR) is the EU’s standard. Like the NRR, the SNR gives you an estimate of the level of noise reduction that a hearing protection device can provide. This means that if you have a product with an SNR of 34*, then it’s essentially saying that the product can reduce up to 34dB of noise. The main difference between SNR and NNR is that the former’s ratings are typically a few decibels higher. Note:1. When worn for the first time, the safety ear muffs may be a little tight, and the tight seal is designed to provide better noise reduction. 2. The earmuffs are made for reducing harmful noise to a safe level while allowing you to hear important environmental sounds. They are not completely soundproof. 3. In the hot summer, please remove th

Better value than 3M Peltor & more comfortable
I live on a very noisy & busy main road: constant sirens, buses, idiots at the bus stop... I also have incredibly selfish neighbours. So, ear defenders which are efficient at blocking out noise, whilst being comfortable, are a must for me.Over several years I've tried many brands and types of ear defenders, but these are by far my favourite; I have purchased 3 of them - I like them that much! I've tried various '3M Peltor' ear defenders, which are available in a wide range of various levels of noise blocking. But, almost every 3M Peltor model I tried was a disappointment - they are expensive, their build quality is mostly flimsy (for the price), and I found them all to be uncomfortable. What I really disliked about most of the 3M Peltor range is the lack of space inside the ear cup. They fill their earcups with foam, which can often be felt against the ear. Now, you may think: 'well, surely... more foam means better noise blocking... so how's that a bad thing?'Actually, I prefer more room inside the earcups as I use them in conjuction with earphones - this way I can listen to music etc. This combination is the best I've found to block out yabbering morons in the flat below, and all the other noises I previously mentioned. They are nicely made. Solid and not flimsy. The headband has a nice 'rubberised' covering which doesn't catch my hair & it feels comfortable and fits my head perfectly. In the photos with my review you can see the amount of space inside the earcups. The cushioning on the earpads is really good for an ear defender at this price. I'm able to wear them for 45 mins to 1 hour without too much pressure pain; although after this they can start to cause head pain. Despite this, they are still the best I've tried, and I also get migraines so comfort is important!!When I've tried many 3M Peltor ear defenders, I found their earpads lacking in cushioning & some even have a hard ridge running around the inside edge which digs into the head! Why?Anyway, these ear defenders are excellent value for money. They offer comfort, durability & great noise blocking - especially when used with earphones. Very recommended.

Comfortable and effective
I recently bought an electric log saw and the manual advised the use of ear defenders. I bought these because they looked quite substantial and were reasonably priced. I am very impressed by the effectiveness of the noise cancellation. Would definitely recommend.
