This was a perfect replacement for my CPAP's original hose. The manufacturer won't even sell you this part alone. Instead, they want to sell you the mask too and charge nearly four times as much (eight times, when you consider this is package contains two hoses). In short, this is a great product at a very reasonable cost.

Update: my first review indicated the hoses were noisy. Tonight I finally decided to dig in and see if I could fix it. Lo and behold I figured out there was a tiny tear in the very thin silicone seal on the nasal mask where the hose clips in. It was this tear that was noisy, not the hose. My bad! I replaced the nasal mask and it seems better. Duh!(Old review) I ordered this despite some reviews that said it was noisy. Mine are as well. The value and quality seemed good (2 short hoses per package), but the seal at the swivel creates a hissing sound when not exactly aligned. It doesn’t wake me up but it does annoy me when I’m trying to fall asleep.I wish to heck someone would make one of these that has a better diffuser (and doesn’t hiss). Like the original equipment tube, it blows a pretty good stream of air straight out, which means I have to sleep with my back to my wife. I affixed another brand’s diffuser to the outlet and it worked great without killing me with co2 poisoning, but it really didn’t stay put so I gave up. Can’t be that hard. Help?

3.5 ratingRight away I liked the construction of the product. It fit perfectly and has a great snap in to the mask. The bad is that it doesn’t seem to seal completely so if there is slight pressure or tension you can hear it. Not a huge deal but the actual resmed products seem to not have this issue. Great price and if you don’t mind the slight air leak noise, it’s perfect. It doesn’t affect the functionality, just something I’ve noticed.

I ordered the product based on the information provided in the Amazon ad. The ad information stated the tubing was longer than the old tubing and provided 16-length. When I received the product, I found the tubing reached just short of 14 inches and had almost no stretch or flexibility (significantly shorter and less flexible than my current tubing, which I need to replace due to age.)I attempted to contact the seller through their online chat, which turned out to be an AI chatbot. When I questioned the seller description, I was repeatedly told by the chatbot, I was wrong and no tubing lengths were provided in the product info of the Amazon ad.I provided an image of their own product info and the AI chatbot changed the response to, "The product information states that the length of this short tube is longer than the original tube. However, based on the customer reviews, there seems to be some confusion regarding the actual length of the tube. Some customers have mentioned that the tube is only about 12 inches long, while others have stated that it is longer than the original tube. The product information does not provide specific details about the exact length of the replacement tube when stretched. Great product.

The connection is made very cheaply. I don’t expect the squeeze tabs to last very long at all. The path that connects to the long tube also doesn’t fit exactly right. It has fallen off several times during the night…which has led to waking up abruptly with a lot of headaches. This is still a cheaper alternative to buying the real thing…but it isn’t without some draw backs.
