Great as toys for cats!
I bought these as toys for the cats at my local animal shelter. As a volunteers, we try to find things that will occupy the cats in their cages. These are inexpensive and the cats love to play with them! Plus, the colors help brighten their cages.

Perfect for play with cats + humans (but not for playing ping pong)
I have two young cats with lots of energy. They love chasing foam (soccer) footballs so I figured ping pong balls were a safe bet for them + I was right. They LOVE when I bounce them down the halls (hardwood floors) + off the walls. They especially love intercepting them mid-air + hitting them down the stairs. These balls come in really handy before bedtime — if you play with your cats for 30 mins to an hour before bed, they will be much calmer overnight + much less likely to wake you up, definitely not as often.I had no issues with the number included; I ordered a bag of 60 + that's exactly what I got, in the bright variety of colors (which make them easier to spot when collecting them) pictured in the listing. Bear in mind that cats are partially color blind so the red ones most likely look grey. There were none damaged. As far as their 'bounceability,' that's where reading product details comes into play. It says, right in the description, "Not for table tennis games, Not for ball pit." They definitely don't have the same bounce as pro-grade balls but they *do* bounce on hard surfaces. I've been using them at least twice a day since the day they arrived + none of them have cracked, except for the one my hubby stepped on but even after he did that, it still worked! It has a wonky bounce but my cats couldn't care less, even like it a little more for the unpredictable bounce. This is a really good deal for a big bag of kitty fun + exercise + would definitely buy them again, should we manage to go through all 60.

The colors are bright and fun and they are sturdy little suckers
So not sure if you are like me but my kids tell me "I'm bored" every 5 minutes. I blame the internet but here I am using it so yeah I'm a hypocrite. Anyway I have a pool and every so often these parasites sorry I mean kids will go swimming to break up the monotony. But within 5 minutes it's the same old thing- "I'm bored". Typically I tell them to wait until they are my age and floating in a pool will be amazing but that goes over about as well as you would think. Anyway back to the balls. These kids have all kinds of pool gadgets and games but inevitably they get tired and revert back to near vegetative state. Then I saw these ping pong balls with the rainbow of fruit flavors and I was like "yeah, this is a game changer". So I hit "go" or whatever on Amazon and bam a bag of colorful sturdy ping pong balls shows up at my house. As soon as I heard the first call "I'm bored" I pulled the bag out of hiding and challenged the kids to pick them up. Then I threw them in the pool. And then, well, you can guess. They went after them like an Easter egg hunt. Didn't even bother with suits- just right into the deep end. And they have been making up all kinds of crazy games ever since. I'm actually worried about chlorine poisoning- they won't get out of the pool. You are probably asking yourself now, what games have they innovated? Hit me up and I'll write a short ebook for you.

Great for STEM activities
I teach a basic robotics class for 7th graders and originally got these for random purposes. My colleague decided we should make cars to demonstrate rotational servos and each student pair kit has two servos, meaning two-wheeled cars. Rather than building a basic axle to support the rest of their cars, I had my students use one of these as a kind of bearing and it worked beautifully! The cars were stable, turned well, and were really maneuverable. We also used these for ball runs, and decorative purposes. The kids love them and the colors are high-interest.

Good value for the money
I bought these as a Christmas gift for my nephew just to play with which was great. As far as using them as a ping pong ball they were ok. They are definitely a little heavier so they don’t bounce as easy as a name brand ping pong ball.

Worth the money
Our grandkids are having a blast with these balls. We use them to bounce into empty egg cartons. Then the kids blocked off the entryway and made themselves a ball pit. It was hysterical and they played with them a long time. I wish I’d gotten the bigger count! They’re not thin, either. They held up well to a lot of arms and legs and feet. Not a squished ball in the bunch.
