Was skeptical, but happily surprised
I read a lot of reviews about their cats dying after this medication (which I wondered if the cat was too far in for treatment before taking this medication), reviews that the product was homeopathic and wouldn't work due to no placebo effect with animals and some reviews from people who were recommended this by their vet for pets with sensitivities.I didn't want to take my cat to the vet as she's already anxious and easily stressed and she hates the vet office to the point of shaking when she's there. She's 12 years old and I recognized the beginning of hyperthyroidism. She's always been a small cat, never above 6 pounds, so the weight loss was hard to tell on her. Her back fur kept balding from overgrooming and her nose fur started to go which really got me paying attention. I noticed she was peeing more often and drinking a ton of water, her sister had this issue and she ended up dying not long after I realized the issue so I started looking into treatment at home besides home cooked meals.I started this cautiously, 1 pill for about 7 days just to see how she reacted to it. She was fine, no real issues. I finally started the 2 pill recommended dosage after establishing she wasn't going to have a reaction to the medication and within about 2 weeks I noticed changes already. She stopped scream meowing constantly, she was less aggressive about food and she toned down on the water. I have started giving her 2 pills at the same time every day so I don't forget and she's doing well with that for the last 1.5 weeks. It's been probably near a month and her hair on her back is growing back, the nose is unchanged, but her weight is back to normal and she's back to playing with my other cat rather than lashing out at her randomly. You get a lot of medication in a glass bottle so that's an amazing sign of quality and the results have sold me. This won't cure her, but it will help her stay herself until it's eventually her time to go and I'm grateful for the time this medication is giving us.

Seems to be working well for weight gain/appetite
I pair this with my cats thyroid meds. Twice a day! He’s looking healthy and back to his old self with weight gained. Idk if it’s solely his thyroid meds helping or with this medicine paired with it for results. I have had no issues with it! I do recommend paired with thyroid meds.

I was nervous BUT THESE PILLS WORK!!! A miracle
My baby girl is 18 and was diagnosed last year with hyperthyroidism. I took her in because she was restless… she is one of the most chillest sweetest cats but she howled constantly day and night … paced my counters.. she stopped relaxing and laying with me even at nighttime she was awake howling. I would have to lock her into my closest so she would sleep a little bit and be quiet because I work from home. So I took her and in and that’s when she was diagnosed… I’ve had her since she was a kitten and I was 15. Now I’m 33 & I just can’t imagine life without her. I was desperate to find something natural to help her. The doctor advised the medication but I read the side effects and I absolutely did not want to risk it. So I did research and I found the Food for cats which seemed to help a lot! However with that food she hated the hard food so she lost a lot of weight very quickly from switching & from only being on wet food, she also started to she’d like crazyyyyy hair everywhere. Then I found these to try to help her weight go up some! I started her with 1 pill for a few weeks to get her used to it and see how she responded to it. Then I increased her dosage to her 2 pills per day by crushing them in her wet food.LET ME TEL YOU THEY WORK AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SHE IS CALM. We can tell when she hasn’t had them!SHE has stopped losing weight and she isn’t on the special medication food anymore because it’s been sold out for MONTHS!!! Everywhere!SHE HAS stopped shedding as much after weeks of her taking 2 pills daily!!NO MORE HOWLING -thank goodness.. even with the medication food the Doc prescribed her being gone these pills work amazing!!I will say she HAS NOT gained any weight but she seems to be maintaining. I am going to increase to 3 pills per day to see if it helps her gain weight. She still drinks water a lot but not as much as she use too.Without these pills she would be so sick I’m sure of it. When she misses a dose Because she hasn’t eaten me and my hubby can tell 100%. She starts acting crazy again and becomes restless and paces everywhere. As long as we give these to her each morning she is fine!I’ll give you an update about her weight once she’s on 3 pills for a while. I pray it helps.I love my baby she’s my bestie. I really hope my review helps someone else. She’s been on these for about 3-4 months regularly.

It's helping...so far
I plan to update in a month or two.I have an outside yellow tabby who is almost 16. She has always shed a lot and has been losing weight gradually for 2-3 years (weighed 10 lbs at age 4 and weighs 8 now), but no obvious health problems, per her annual vet visit. Switching to mid-grade Purina dry food several years ago helped her coat (and all the other cats) but the hair loss got worse again this summer along with almost daily hair balls (tubes!). I have been giving her 2 tablets of this product per day for a month, and she has had no ill effects. She may or may not have gained weight (my scale only does 1/2 pound increments) but her back feels less bony and she is no longer shedding or having hair balls. I will update in 4 to 8 weeks.
