Nice hat
Very nice and warm wool hat. Not too heavy and it fits really well. I like the material quality and softness.

The hat I've been looking for my entire life! I like it so much, ordered a second one!
My head and especially ears are always cold in the winter. Over the years, I kept buying bigger and bulkier ski hats.My friend suggested I search for wool hats. After much research on Amazon I pulled the trigger on this one. I am so happy I did! When it arrived, it was super soft but thin. I was sure it would not keep my head and ears warm.It must be the wool, but this hat works. Keeps my head and ears warm even in the single digits (fahrenheit). It has not yet been colder but I expect this to hold up well.I bought a second pair - one for running and one for casual. I've also recommended this product to friends who run or bike outdoors. I've officially a huge fan of this company and will check out their other products. So far, I've washed it a few times and hung dry it. Did not test if in the dryer yet. But the washing machine did not cause it to shrink or fade, so I am very happy about that.I saw a review complaining about extra material. I don't use this as a fashion beanie, so folding it over is an added benefit for additional warm, not a negative. I am just happy it fits my head. So many 'one size fits all' ski hats are too small for me. This one is great. All in all, could not be happier. My head is finally warm and I'm not carrying around a huge thick ski hat. Soft, thin and warm! You won't be disappointed!

New favorite beanie
I have more beanies than I should, but I will hunt for this one for the pleasure and comfort of wearing it. These are beautifully made hats. It's light and lays well, the light blue is gorgeous, and its warm and comfortable without being ostentatious. I will be buying more when winter hits!

Absolutely Worth The Money
An absolute game changer for merino wool beanies. I made the switch to merino wool beanies a couple of years ago after I found nothing else worked as well for keeping my head warm yet being breathable while I worked. The only problems I had were 1) Merino Wool beanies are expensive for 100% merino wool or 2) Cheap merino wool beanies are ITCHY.My go to Merino Wool beanie before this one was made by Rich Cotton brand and I noticed anytime I'd start doing any type of serious work after a short time I'd start itching and having to scratch constantly. I finally had enough of it and started looking for another Merino Wool beanie that would leave me red and itchy. I had almost given up on finding something cheap and was going to break down and just spend the money and get something more expensive but that I knew would work for me.Enter Meriwool Merino Wool Beanies. I saw the price and I was extremely skeptical of it at first. I was worried I'd get burned again and it'd be itchy or not 100% wool. Still, it was worth the chance since I could send it back if it didn't live up to expectations but as soon as I took it out of the box I knew it'd work for me.You do have to slightly stretch it to fit your head but don't worry it will stretch and DON'T overstretch it. Just with normal wear it will conform to you without issue. This thing is extremely comfortable and as far as I can tell is 100% wool (I can't vouch for it actually being Merino but at some point you just have to trust a company). At this price point, I'm extremely confident that you can't find a better beanie than this one. Keep in mind it's more of a medium to light weight beanie so on extremely cold days you might need to double up or wear something thicker, but for my climate this will be perfect basically year round.

My new favorite
Quick version: Kinda like the Goldilocks of winter hats. Maybe a little on the lighter days side of things. But it's light, breathable, stretchy, big enough to fit over my ears, and looks really nice.Long version: This guy is my new favorite. I've collected quite the collection of hats over the years, and this one is sitting at #1.It feels comfy and light...seems breathable...and it stretches over my big ol' head. My 9 year old daughter loves it too. She's all but claimed it for herself. It's not the thickest thing I've got, but I haven't noticed myself getting cold up there. The quality is 2nd to none; it feels really nice and light on my head.It even came in a nice box with a few stickers. Great quality packaging.Plus it looks nice...my wife hasn't laughed at me once!I'd recommend it if you're looking for a hat that can pretty much do it all.

Very soft and warm
A really nice wool hat! I was pleased by the thoughtful packaging, all recyclable, and it's extra good to see the Oeko-tex tag. Thin, but long/tall, I have it doubled over twice like a watch cap.

Warm, soft, comfortable beanie at a fair price.
Merino wool is the softest, smoothest and warmest of all the materials used to make a beanie hat. Does not "scratch" like other wool hats. High quality.
