Plextor PX-891SAF 24X SATA DVD/RW Dual Layer Burner Drive Writer - Black (Bulk)

Some of our custom build computers still require DVD/RW drives. This has always worked and have yet to run into a failed unit. We have seen some work after 7 years of heavy use.

I've had this for almost a year now and it's been amazing! Reads and burns fast and reliable, well worth the money. Not too noisy either.

I've always relied on Plextor DVD drives in the past and this one doesn't disappoint as well.

Item was well-pckaged and appeared to be brand new. Since it was a "bulk" purchase there was no cable or documentation. It was well-packaged and arrived undamaged and on time. The unit works well on my older Windows10 pc. I chose the Plextor brand because my experience has been good with the company's products.

I have admired Plextor optical drives for over 20 years. I just bought this one to replace a non-Plextor one that was failing, and I like it. I can’t really say how long it will last, but it works, it appears to have a smooth mechanical mechanism, and it isn’t very noisy.

Until 4k, Plextor was one of my main optical drive purchases. Needed for an old computer so that I can use burned discs for drivers and era specific data. Average price point for drive.
