Stands up to the abuse
My daughter has been using this laptop for a year, and it's worked great. She's rough on things, but it's held up to her abuse. I love that Lenovo is cheaper than other brands while still being quality. Please keep it that way!

The older thinkpads are nice!
So far so good. This is one of a couple refurb systems I needed for older software. It's a solid laptop with Windows 10 Pro. Decent keyboard with backlighting and the keys feel nice to the touch. Hoping this will last a good long time.

Spend your money elsewhere - it's a bad risk!
When I got the P51 laptop initially, it seemed OK. A couple of minor cosmetic issues (peeling cover, etc) surfaced quickly that I wasn't happy with, but which didn't seem to merit return of the device. Shortly after the warranty expired, I got the blue screen of death. I have gotten it every day since, often multiple times a day, rendering the laptop unusable. I've reinstalled Windows twice and have been told that it might be a motherboard problem or possibly an intermittent RAM issue. I'm typing this from my old T430 since the P51 is a boat anchor. I engaged with TekRefurbs in good faith and they shared that they were unwilling to help. I'm not asking them to replace the unit at this point but I'm exercising my right as a consumer to share my problems with other potential TekRefurbs consumers. Learn from my mistake - spend your money elsewhere!
