Great
Great cassette and very easy to install with the proper tools. Now my mongoose fat tire bike is more manageable uphill and offroad use. Love the low fear and high gear. It's really quiet which caught me off guard unlike the stock one. Looks durable and hopefully it'll last a long time but it wasn't expensive so I don't mind buying another one for future use. Highly recommend it

GOOD REPLACEMENT
I bought this in October 2024 for my Electra Townie E bike, The original Freewheel (Not a Shimano) came apart. Good replacement. I had a Shimano Tourney shiftier set on the bike better to use a Tourney Freewheel (Why Electra didn't use a Shimano Freewheel ?????) Very close to the gear range of the Original freewheel Works well is easy to install and after 6 months no problems. I have had a lot of bikes over the years and bikes that had Shimano parts never had any problems.

Good hill climbing 34T cog
Great freewheel for hilly terrain, at a low price. May take some fine tuning the derailleur after switching from a 28T, mine needed a little more limit travel. And of course not to be used with the largest chain ring, unless you don't care about wearing out your drive train fast.

Just what I needed.
Why Electra didn't use this freewheel on my Townie 7D I don't understand. The bike already has a Shimano RevoShift shifter and Shimano Tourney derailleur. This freewheel replaced a cheap noisy C Star freewheel that gave me problems from the day I bought the bike. Much better quality and works great. Just what I needed.

Replace your old TZ31 with this, perfect replacement, great price
My older Trek had a clunk or knock noise every revolution, and after replacing two other components in my attempt to eliminate it, replacing the freewheel solved the issue. If your bike has a Shimano MF-TZ31 7-speed freewheel, this is a direct replacement. Shimano’s website shows that the TZ31 has been discontinued, even though you can still find it on Amazon as of this review. This model is also about half the price of the TZ31 that is currently being sold.I didn’t even need to adjust anything on the rear derailleur after replacing the freewheel; every shift happened just as smoothly as the original. You’ll need a Park Tool FR 1.3 (or equivalent) tool that works with this freewheel as well as the TZ31.If you need to replace an old freewheel because of noise or worn teeth, this is a perfect replacement.

NEEDED A LOWER 1ST GEAR FOR HILLS
MY MOUNTAIN BIKE NEEDED A LOWER 1ST GEAR FOR HILLS AND THIS WORKED OUT FOR ME FINE. EASY TO INSTALL EVEN FOR ME 70YRS OLD.

Megrange is megagood
This was a fun upgrade to my Mongoose Malus. It was extremely easy to replace, fit perfectly and I really like the "Megarange", or tall gear for steep hills. Shimano makes great gear, so I suspect it will hold up very well.

I am now coasting up very steep hills!!!!
I bought this cassette to replace the stock cassette on the Ozark Trail G.1. gravel bike. It was a straight swap and I did not need to buy a new rear derailleur. I did have to make a slight adjustment to the rear derailleur cable adjuster for gears to shift smoothly with the new cassette (no problem, just watch a YouTube video on how to do this). If you are living in a very hilly area this cassette is a must, especially on the Ozark Trail G.1. The previous cassette just made very steep hills too daunting. Some people complain about the big difference between the 1st and 2nd gear but I like this because I feel the relief on steep hills more dramatically and instantly. Just one caveat.. this cassette is quite heavy so if you own a vintage road bike I would suggest getting something lighter and more expensive. If you own the Ozark Trail G.1. or any other bike with 28t or less don't hesitate. Get it!
