Redecker Union Fiber Toilet Brush with Untreated Beechwood Handle, Made in Germany

I had a thicker and bigger Redecker toilet brush, but this one is better. It's a bit lighter in weight, and it's really nice looking and holds up incredibly well. I've probably had it for a year now and use it once or twice a week. I shake it several times before putting the handle in a ceramic vase, with the bristles up for drying. Never put a toilet brush bristles-down. It's durable, well made and so much better than plastic.

I wish I could give this product more than five stars. I've been working towards eliminating as much plastic from my life as possible this year, so I decided to try out these toilet brushes. Best decision ever!My husband owned our house for three years before I moved in and never cleaned the toilets. Gross. Because of this there was literal mold in the toilets and those nasty rings at the water line. I've been fighting this for years, even sticking my hands in there (with gloves) using comet and a scouring pad. I still couldn't get rid of the stains. Enter these amazing brushes. The stains diminished by half after the first use. After the second, they were completely gone. Same toilet bowl cleaner and everything. Seriously, magic!!The only downside to these brushes actually turned into a positive for me. They do not come with holders. So I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some cute ceramic planters. Now not only do I have magical toilet brushes, they aren't an eyesore sitting beside the toilet.Also, this brush sheds a few bristles the first couple times you use it, but they are only 2-3 inches long so I just flushed them down. Definitely not the worst thing that's been flushed down our toilets....Seriously, do yourself a favor and buy these!! Even if you don't care about our planet (which you should), these are like the Lamborghinis of toilet brushes.

Well made and replaced an older one just like it that came with a nice pot .

I have an assortment of Redeker brushes. Like the others, this one is well-made, sturdy and functional. I hide it in a gorgeous ironstone vase.

Looks fantastic, BUT a few bristles fall out each time I use it, so I fear eventually they’ll all fall out. I’ve had this a few months and use it a few times a week, so I know it’s not just a few loose bristles.

There is a need for such products that don't create waste. The concept is very good but something is lacking in the way its put together. I barely touched the brush to the pot and 1 big clump of fibers fell out. The fibers are stapled using pins and the pins are inserted into the holes. I tried pushing the clump back in. Then used scissors the push the pin back in. In the next 5 seconds another clump of fibers fell out. Tried pushing that back in too. The brush did a fairly ok job at cleaning though I have serious doubts about how long this will last.

Good product. Will shed bristles as you clean, but this doesn’t hinder it’s ability to clean. Can be stored in a cute planter or small pail with clay planter base to absorb water. Have re-ordered this after old one ran it’s course. Prefer sending the wood materials to the landfill rather than the plastic.
