Having furniture for your cat is important, but I was sick of the usual look of cat trees. I moved into a new home and wanted something that actually complements the room. Decided to shell out more money than I'm usually comfortable with, and WOW I'm glad I did.Picture is of the Mau tree on our living room next to the kitchen. I love love love the look of it and I can't imagine the room without it. I did make a slight alterations to the cave opening, using an extra cushion I ordered from Mau, because my cat likes to hide when guests come over.It took about a month for my cat to get used to it, but now she scritchy-scratches it all the time and plops into one of the baskets whenever I cook in the kitchen.It is heavy, but I personally have no problem carrying it around. I had to take it upstairs at one point and it was no big deal. The weight makes it more stable. If you need to move it, the trick is to get a good grip on the lower branch with one hand, and grip onto under the base with your other hand.The assembly did make me scratch my head a bit. Placing the three supports in the cave straight without it appearing a bit "twisted" was a challenge. Make sure you are only loosely setting the screws at first, then when they're all in, gradually tighten each one a bit of a time in a circle until all sufficiently tightened.

If you are like me you purchased several cheaper versions and had to throw them away after your cat got sick on it and over time they just get gross. They will replace parts on this cat tree so you can use it forever. You can also take the beds out and wash them in your washing machine! Our tabby/torti cat is 15 and still very active. She loves this tree and spends a lot of time in it. It is so soft for her and she's really happy. It's a good investment and worth the price. She likes the scratching posts but likes the fuzzy beds the most. It's not crazy tall which I like since I have an older cat. You will not find this quality anywhere else.

Well, I was hoping for the extravagant price that it was worth it, and I definitely think so. My cat went right in the bottom after a bit of getting used to just looking at it and slept for a good two hours, and I did show her How to move to the first basket and then to the second one she's still a kitten, but she loves it! And as well constructed as it's made, it'll last forever

Very esthetically pleasing cat tree. Our cat loves the basket perches with or without the little cushions. Our little dog also likes the den at the bottom!

Yeah my cat is an indoor/outdoor cat and it’s hard to buy things that she likes. But this cat tree is for outdoor cats. She loves this thing. I also put it next to the window and she’s just obsessed. The only thing is that it moves a bit when she’s cleaning herself or moving around. She doesn’t mind.

My cat loves this cat tree. It’s her favorite sleeping spot. It’s very comfortable and well worth the money given the amount of time she spends in it. She won’t touch any of the other cheaper trees that I had purchased for her. I’ll be buying more Mau cat furniture in the future.

Amazing product, hands down! The cats were in the baskets before they were put up. The only thing, depending on the cat, the higher tier basket is hard for the second cat to jump on. They have to first jump in the first basket before getting up on the second one. I just pick up the cat and place him in the higher basket and he stays. So far, it works for me. Some cats might jump on it with no issues.The quality is very high end, it's very sturdy, the animals love the design, it looks great and modern, easy to put together.

constructability is okay, it was easy to put together, really heavy and seem to be structured well. The whole thing was fine but I realize the material for the housing on the bottom and the basket is on the cheaper side when this thing cost 300 dollars. Value isn't quite there. Shipping was pretty bad because all the drying pellets fell out of these cloth bags and they look like litter all over the product and I had to clean it up and out of the box.
