I'm not able to get the pen refills to fit in the pen. Tried them all. They seem like they should fit. Any secret getting the refills into the pen?

Look at the picture. The refills fit into the plastic pen in that direction (upside down). Open the plastic pen, the top part has an unscrewable half. Remove the little cap from the end of the refill, then Insert the refill as in the picture. The unscrewable half is the top of the pen you remove when you're using it.

This tailors chalk does not brush off or come off with water and a clean cloth. Help! What dlse can I do to save my completed project??

Try 2-3 drops of dish soap in about 1/4 cup of water in a small spray bottle. Shake the bottle, spray the chalk line. Wipe it off with a cloth and it should come out.

Yes, that's the nice thing about using chalk, it works well on all sorts a material. It easy to wipe off without leaving a residue.
