Bought this to liven up Thanksgiving with the extended family. Cuuuuuzzz no one likes sitting around bc there is only so much eating and talking you really can do. This is a great way to learn about family. I bring it to every family event never gets boring!

For our family, this is perfect, this is absolutely not a toy and not really a game… more of a conversation starter. Our “kids” are in their 20s and 30s, but if your teen is willing to participate, I think it would be beneficial and interesting. We ended up sitting at the table a few nights over the holidays, drawing cards and having heartfelt and important conversations. I highly recommend this 😀 cheers to a happy and healthy 2025!

The media could not be loaded. Fun game to play with family and friends! I initially purchased to use during chemo treatments with my son, but now I also keep a pack in my glove compartment for car rides, purse for restaurants, and even on the coffee table to use whenever I want to strike up engaging conversation! The questions are thought provoking, and can be a little serious at times. But in these more serious moments I find myself bonding more with the ones around me.I've also used the dating pack by this brand and found it to be a blast as well! That one is a go to, especially with people I meet online because it's a great way to get to know someone without all the awkwardness. :)Overall 5 starts for value, quality and uniqueness.

We are Asian family we tend not to have a deep conversation a month family members. But this card game was a hit for all of us and we had a great time taking to each other. Highly recommended to get it for family gathering. Maybe we will get a deck for fun version.

We do these as a family with the kids at dinner time. They ask all the time can we do cards. I helps us communicate and understand them more and helps them understand us a tad bit.

I bought these because I thought they'd be good for encouraging communication and closeness in our family. Unfortunately, we haven't used them yet because the cards are kind of odd. Many of the cards aren't appropriate for all relatives- some seem more geared toward spouses or siblings while others seem more geared towards parents or kids. You are supposed to choose them randomly, but that seems like a bad idea. Many of the questions might be rather awkward or put people on the spot. We are a pretty open family anyway so maybe we don't need these cards. It seems like they might make communication more awkward rather than less. In the past we've enjoyed things like "The Book of Questions" where you can pick and choose questions to ask each other and it seems less intense than this "game."
