Very satisfied with this product.
Got this for water dispenser at home. Not as light as plastic, but probably healthier. Worth the extra hassle of filling it. Strong glass too and even throughout the whole jar no thinner or weak spots.

Durable and non toxic
This was my 3rd purchase, love these bottles so much. They are very durable so make sure you’re prepared to lift it. May wanna opt for 3 gallon instead as it’s much lighter.

The value is well worth of money.
Excellent product. I have five jugs from this seller and appreciate their shipping and value for the money. People stop me at the supermarket often to ask where I get it. I take the time to show them. It’s worth it.

Wonderful!
What a beautiful bottle. I bought it specifically to fit inside my 5-gallon cooler/dispenser and it fits perfectly. It's exactly the same size as the 5-Gallon jugs from the delivery service. Now, I fill it with my own tap water, but still have the hot and cold option at the ready. No big jugs to carry to the kitchen or empty jugs taking up space in our garage anymore. It's going to be a money saver in the long run and I won't be using plastic anymore!

What I expected
It’s exactly what I expected. I’m going to use this for water because I’m trying to avoid plastic. And it was cheaper than getting glass bottle delivery. My universal tops fit it too.

Defective
Item listing does not say these carboys are all defective, but seller confirms that they all contain 4-5 inch scratches in the surface of the glass on the bottom of them which is a result of a defect in the mould the glass was cast in.The seller is charging top dollar for these but they are not disclosing that they are defective - you are better off buying one of these from a local beer/wine shop instead of on Amazon, as they apparently support this dishonest business practice. The seller reassured me that the item still works as intended, despite the crack - however I see other reviews saying that the bottom breaks out easily, and if that happens this is not going to potentially damage your home or whatever building you store the carboy in, but can be a safety hazard as well. The seller says they will accept a return, however the only option they appear to allow is to package up the carboy, tape it and print out a label, and drive it 25 minutes away to a UPS dropoff location which costs money for gas as well as my time - which is more valuable than the cost of the item, for me.
