Works as expected
After installing, I added it Windows, formatted it, and haven't had any issues using it.

You get what you pay for. Save yourself the trouble, avoid these
I bought these because they were the cheapest cost per terabyte. While advertised as < 100 bad sectors, two of the four drives I purchased were ~140 failed sectors. My Synology DiskStation was complaining saying the drives were failing and needed to be replaced.

Bad drives
This drive didn't live up to its potential. I ordered 2 and one of them had to be replaced because it wouldn't let me format it. It kept freezing my computer. The one that seemed to work now won't show up on my computer anymore. I have to keep restarting every time it disappears. So not worth it. I should've read the reviews before buying. Never again

Home NAS
Ordered 2 of these for a Windows based home NAS. I originally had a single 12TB hard drive that had roughly 5.5TB used but wanted to break out my data and have a mirror drive also. Dropped these in my NAS, did a format and started to transfer. Took about 4 hours to transfer 5.5TB from on drive to the other and then another 5 hours to build the mirror drive. No problems since install, no unusual noises, will be back when I'm ready to populate the other 6 empty drive spaces.

Better than the Seagate Enterprise drive!
I bought a Seagate Enterprise drive that worked just long enough for me to fill it up with 8tb of data and then it died. They sent me a replacement and it was DOA. I asked for an exchange but they just issued me a refund, so I bought this MDD drive instead and it arrived in near perfect condition! No bad sectors and it passed all the diagnostic tests i put it through...I will update this if anything changes but for now I am very happy with this 8tb drive!
