Q: Will this work in hot water (130 degrees farenheit)?

I use mine in a sink full of warm water. So i say yes!

Q: Are there any instructions as to how you turn this on and off. And if you don’t want it to go for 30 minutes, do you have the option of less time?

This product sucks, no instructions and only spins don't swirl dishes around to clean them, I returned mine. NO option for less time just pull plug out.
