Citadel Pot de Peinture - Shade Agrax Earthshade (24ml)

It's kinda a brownish wash that enhances minis and figures by darkening recesses while nicely toning down bright colors.Good stuff.

This is the best shade for the majority of my wargaming figures projects. It shades the color, doesn't darken colors as some tones do! I am very happy with this product!!!

I've just started using shades when painting (typically I do a base color, mid tone, drybrush and paint highlights as well), and wow Agrax Earthshade really adds dimension when painting. This works great when applied to a lot of things that are in the general color scheme. Recently painted a cyclops and brushed this all over the skin and let it seep into the crevices and it really added dimension and depth top the paint job! I will be trying other colors!!

Cost more than it would have at the local game shop, but I didn’t have to wait two weeks for their ordering process to transpire (just two days). More importantly, I really liked the shading effect it produced on the miniature. However, the mini was a Lovecraftian monster, so there was a lot of room for what constituted acceptable.

Leaked. Cap was open. Still useable, but short a little. The product is excellent, albeit the high price.

There is no shade, wash, or other option that works with the quality and ease of the Citadel shades. Agrax is an absolute gold-standard among those. It often gets called liquid talent and with good reason. Just... don't spill it.
