Really cool and nice leather with excellent quality paper

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Awesome Journal.

WHENVER FOLKS COME INTO MY ROOM AND SEE IT THEY ARE DRAWN TO IT. FOR ME IT CONJURES UP THE DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS' MOVIES, WITH WITCHES, WIZARDS, SECRET POTIONS AND OLD BOOKS. EVEN THE PAPER REMINDS ME OF PARCHMENT. I COULD NOT JUST LEAVE THIS SITTING AND LOOKING GOOD SO I USE IT TO TALK ABOUT DIFFERENT THINGS IN MY 81 YEARS AND THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS AND THAT. IT SEEMS JUST THE RIGHT PLACE. MY SEARCH NOW IS WHICH OF MY PENS AND PENCILS FITS BEST WITH THE PAPER IN THE BOOK.

When this arrived I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material. I purchased it as a gift for my son and he thought it was so cool. Real leather. You won't be disappointed if you buy it.

Like other reviews, this journal came with a long string to wrap around - not the thin leather lacing that is shown. The string looks cheap. It seems like I paid for more than I received. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bought for myself to start journaling and was looking it over and it’s a very well put together journal. The leather is nice and the page bindings look amazing, plus the dragon imprint is just gorgeous. Great for an authentic dnd session or if your just into fantasy it’s a great prop piece. The pages work will with my writing utensil of choice but check to see if yours writes well on it as I’ve had some pens not take well to the pages.
