Good stand for grinder and drill press
I bought two of these stands: one for my Rikon 8” bench grinder and the other for my WEN 10” drill press. It worked perfectly for both applications. The black powder finish was in perfect condition and the parts were easy to assemble. It is fairly sturdy, but if you push really hard on it, it could possibly tip over. That shouldn’t be an issue for most people. Plus you could always secure the stand to the floor if you want more stability. For the price, this is a good stand for my needs. I only use my grinder for sharpening wood-turning chisels and gouges. And I only use the drill press for relatively small wood projects. So I’m not concerned about the stand easily tipping over.I use the included “water tray” for stowing my drill press’s chuck key and counter sink bits. Before I got the stand, my drill press was sitting on a workbench, which made it much too high for everyday use. I had to stand on a step stool to use it. Now the drill press is at a perfect working height and off my workbench.Mounting both the bench grinder and the drill press on the stands was super easy. The bolts that are supplied with the stand are too small, however. But I had some larger carriage bolts that I used for the drill press and machine bolts for the bench grinder, which I mounted on a piece of MDF to allow for mounting my grinding jigs, as you can see from the photo. In summary, I would buy this utility stand again should the need arise.

Pleasantly surprised.
For $60 bucks I wasn't expecting much. I was expecting to have to do some modifications to make it sturdier; I was pleasantly surprised.+ height is a good working height+ The base is cast and is held to the column by two set screw (not just one); the screws were already in place / just tighten...and thanks for the allen wrench so I didn't have to hunt for one.+ The water tray is cast.+ The top is held to the column by a cast piece again held by two set screws not just one. (no wobble)+ The top is sturdy (10 ga? ) the cut outs fit my bench grinder and they supplied ample bolts for even a very large grinder.+ overall fairly hefty, I'll still bolt it down but it doesn't tip all that easily unsecured.- my only negative: the hook they provide presumably for hanging a face shield is a nice touch but it's plastic and doesn't protrude very far. It won't last long / I'll replace it with a conduit clamp when that happens. Not a big deal.Overall I'm very pleased, I was not expecting much for the price... I was pleasantly surprised.

Good quality for the price
Good quality for the price and more convenient than building a stand. It even comes with mounting hardware. The only downside I can see is that it still seems a little short, by like 2-4". It would be nice if the height was adjustable, which could easily be done with two pieces of sliding pipe.

Works well/easily assembled
Holds the grinder steady and level, quality material and easy assembly.... haven't died while using it, not even once...way better than a poke in the eye. Would recommend...not the poke in the eye, that hurts, I recommend the grinder pedestal.

Remember Wen! Back when things were made to last, this Wen product won’t disappoint!
Well made, very nicely powder coated, I will probably get another in the future for a bench sander!Easy assembly, good value, great quality and I think it will last a long time, like back WEN things were made here and made well! It’s good to see a familiar name on here!!!

Outstanding for the price
This worked really well for just under $60 at the time. All parts fit perfectly together, there were no finish issues, and it’s very sturdy after assembly. The cord holder isn’t very useful and feels like it will break quickly. The height is just about right for me.I mounted a 6” bench grinder/belt sander unit which fit perfectly. I had to use different hardware as the included bolts were too large for a 6” unit. The holes in the feet are about 12.5mm so they fit M12 casters. It was a separate purchase, but I added 4” casters and I’m really happy with the ability to move it around easily now. The casters raised the height a bit which worked out well for me.

Very sturdy
Really happy with this. Much sturdier then I would expect for $50.
