Q: Are these made from single solid wood pieces or glued together strips of wood?

The plate pictured is different than the bowls I purchased. The bowls are pieces so I hand wash them but I like them a lot.

Q: I know the dimensions say 11", but do they actually measure 11"? I need plates that are 10-3/4".

Our plate is 11 inches, and the measurement may have a 1-2 cm deviation. If you use it as a steak plate or dinner plate, we recommend using this size, which is also very suitable.

Q: Are these plates 100% compostable?

Idk if it is 100% compostable but it looks like it would be since it’s acacia wood and I LOVE them. We use for bread, dessert, cookies and small snacks, salads, you can truly use for everything you want, I just think the durability would be affected if you use for hot food. I don’t put in the microwave and had wash them as I do with any wooden utensils I have.

Q: I placed these plates in the dishwasher a few times. i didn't realize i should hand wash them only. can i still use the plates?

I’m pretty sure you could still use the plates I always hand wash all wooden things. As long as they look good, go ahead and use them. You can rub them down with food grade mineral oil.
