They are lightweight, durable, and ideal for what I am looking for.
I'm 72 years old, and while I hike in the woods perhaps more than many other 72-year-olds, I am not a long-range hiker, although I do think about it now and then. These would do very well for those who want to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail, as they are well-made, very light, durable, and water-resistant, if not actually waterproof. I still need to do that test. Whatever your age might be, if you are looking for something that looks reasonably good, has plenty of pockets, is very lightweight, and is durable, these are a good choice. I've worn my first pair several times and am pleased with them. That's not why I bought them, however. As mentioned, I am 72 years old and carry a bit more weight than I would like. Absent a diet and exercise plan, I am always looking for pants that will stay up, and there are some places where sweatpants just aren't appropriate. As you age and put on some weight, your body undergoes changes that render regular pants with a belt insufficient. You don't think old people wear suspenders as a fashion statement, do you? I grew up on a farm but only began wearing suspenders a few years ago. Fortunately, by the time you've reached your 70s, you've lost some of your vanity, so I wear suspenders occasionally, but I can't say that I like them. These will stay up under normal circumstances even without the belt that comes with them. With the belt, there are no worries whatsoever, so I can carry things with both hands without worrying about my pants falling, and there is no need for suspenders.I've purchased a couple of these. If they came in a few more colors, I'd buy more.Later... They are available in several colors now, so I've ordered a third pair.

My favorite casual/workout/hiking/activity pants
These are great.Pros: They are comfortable, perfect fit for me, and they look great. I use them all the time over my other pants, especially for Summer time. They are thin enough to breath well and therefore for Summer are excellent, and they have the zipper pockets. They also seem durable, as I've used them outside many times and kneeling, even (carefully though) on cement while doing something outside in the yard, garage, etc. So, yeah, durable and nice looking, and comfortable!Small con:The only thing that bugs me is the edge of the zipper on the 2 side/hip pockets. The flap seems to be on the wrong side, as another review I mentioned, but I can see , also how that can help a little bit to keep things from fully slipping out of the pockets if you're sitting down. Maybe that's the reason? Otherwise, they make it a little more cumbersome to get things in and out of the pockets and work with the zipper. Not a dealbreaker though by any means, and no reason to dock the overall 5 star rating either.I highly recommend them, even though it's certainly dependent on each person's taste and results, and occasional flaws in manufacturing, of course...so, some may have a less ideal experience and result than mine. I will be planning to get another pair of probably another color.

Quality and fit
Would have like better if made out of cotton but they fit well, light and comfortable. Seemingly well made but I'll see how they hold up. For casual wear around the house should be o.k. but I prefer cotton as it's a cooler breathable material.

Good deal
Great. Light weight, exactly as expected.

they worked perfectly!
I bought these moisture-wicking pants for my husband to wear on our trip to Disneyland in Florida, knowing the humidity would be intense. And let me tell you—they worked perfectly! From morning rope drop to late-night fireworks, these pants kept him cool and comfortable all day. The breathable fabric helped wick away sweat, preventing that sticky, uncomfortable feeling that Florida heat can bring. Plus, the fit was great—not too tight, not too loose, just the right balance of flexibility and structure. He loved them so much that they’ve become his go-to for any warm-weather outing. If you need lightweight, breathable pants that hold up in hot and humid conditions, these are a fantastic choice!

Good pants but with a noticeable pocket issue.
Lightweight yet durable. They do a good job drying quickly (depending on environmental conditions). I bought them for those reasons and not so much for the many pockets. I'm amused that the word "tactical" used in the item description apparently means "lots of zippered pockets". I dinged them a couple of stars due to the main pockets. The lining of the pockets is a mesh material, which is good for aeration and draining any liquids that get in. Unfortunately if one puts keys in those pockets, the tips of the keys will work themselves into the mesh openings and gradually enlarge the mesh holes. The holes will eventually become large enough where objects will fall through them and down the pant leg. There are additional pockets one can use though, but some can be less effective than others depending on what's being put into them. Overall I would recommend them; just bear in mind the mesh pockets will eventually tear over time. The right front pocket of mine lasted almost a year; your mileage may vary.

My New Favorite Pants
I love how they fit. I wear 36x30, and the large fits perfect. They are the perfect amount of stretchy, comfortable but not too much. The belt is silly, but I did not buy the pants for the belt. These are my new favorite pants, and I plan to buy at least one more.
