Warm sherpa lining with an interior pocket & cell phone pocket

Warm and Durable
Fits great, really warm... The hood is a bit large, but I suspect it's for people wearing knitted caps or hard hats... would be better if the hood was detachable and/or adjustable with strings, but I can live with it.... The cell phone pocket won't even come close to holding my Galaxy S4, maybe if this were 5 years ago and I was till using a flip phone, it would have a purpose...Cuffs fit snug, but not too snug, and it is really warm... great work coat, especially if I'm working indoors, I don't have to dress in tons of layers to stay warm when I go in and out. Just throw this coat on and I'm good to go, take just the coat off when I come back in..

Perfect. Here's why
This jacket has a great classic look and has kept me warm working in the 20s the last week. I've already received several compliments on the jacket's appearance and warmth. The elastic-free waist line looks better and is more comfortable than elastic. The sleeves and waist in size Large Tall are long enough for my longish arms and torso. The hood is bigger than that of any coat I've owned before and keeps out the wind very effectively. The zipper is solid and joins the hood at the top to cover your chin. The duck outer has apparently been very thoroughly "sanded" and is softer than those of other duck jackets i've owned. I believe it is still pretty durable but only time can tell. The Olive Black color is darker and slightly browner than pictured, a nice shade that will fade gracefully. The jacket is perfect and I hope it lasts a while.

Good jacket even if your not tall
Got a long for the first time because they were out of the regular fit. Was a little nervous since I'm not quite 6ft tall. Its not noticably long and I think the extra length will be great for say bending over and getting that nasty draft up your back. The extra sleeve length is more fabric to keep your arms warm. I would buy this again although it seems pretty tough. I do concrete so I shred cloths up pretty fast. Great price for the product. Also.. i think they fixed that giant hood issue because mine isn't big like the ones displayed here.

Very warm, soft. Sizing a little strange.
Let me start by saying I REALLY like this jacket. It is soft and very warm, and the lining not being in the sleeves is not an issue. I think if the Sherpa lining were in the sleeves, it would be hard to get on and off. I have an unlined Carhartt jacket and I like this much more than my Carhartt. The Carhartt is so bulky and stiff it's very uncomfortable and I don't wear it much. This one, though big, is not really bulky and not stiff at all. I only gave 4 stars due to some sizing issues. I am a female and I usually wear a 2x but I ordered a 3x bc I wanted this to be loose. It is not very loose and I am glad I went up a size. It is very tight around my hips when zipped. The sleeves however are really loose. They fall down over my hands even when snapped on the tightest snap, and I have large hands. However, it is so comfortable I don't really care about the sizing issues much. It is not flattering at all, but for a country girl hanging out at bonfires that doesn't matter to me.

Great jacket
This jacket is very well made. It is heavy, durable and very warm. I live in central Ontario and we are no stranger to -13F winter temps. The sherpa lining (chest, back and hood) is very insulating and comfortable. The sleeves are heavily quilted and also very warm. I like the dual layered cuffs, keeps wind and wet out and the covers my leather gloves perfectly. Hood is a little on the large size, but manageable. I would definitely buy another of these jackets, but I have a feeling it's going to last awhile!

Nice jacket. Famous Dicky quality
Nice jacket. Famous Dicky quality. I'm 6' 170 lbs. With long arms . and 32 waist. I bought large tall. fits a hair big on arms. The elastic wrists fit snug keeps sleeves from sliding over hands. 32 waist fits good .34 might be snug. Also hangs down to crotch. Draw back the hood is very big will hang down in front of your eyes. Made for giant headed people.wearing a ball cap under hood helps. Not sure if just a large would fit better than large tall. I am extremely happy with this coat. Nice and warm also.

Apparently the best gift in 5 years
My boyfriend has been putting off getting a new winter coat so I finally stepped in when the most recent arctic weather hit. He wasn't thrilled with me buying him a coat, apparently he didn't think it could end well when done online. The coat came yesterday and he put it on, and didn't take it off for the rest of the night he loved it so much. It's well made and very sturdy feeling. It has great pockets inside and out with knit cuffs to keep out the cold. And on a night when the temp was about -20 with the wind chill he took the dog for a walk and said he felt absolutely no cold. I may by another just for the future.

It has already ripped
I'm a bit shocked at this coat. I bought it using the sizing chart information, and got an XL tall version. It turned out to be slightly large, but overall it fit well enough to accept, and I really liked the way it felt when wearing it outside on a cold day. Coat was very warm, and I figured it'd be more than durable enough.Boy was I wrong. Within the first week, I heard a ripping sound when I was removing the jacked. I checked it out, and I couldn't find anything wrong. However, today I heard it again, when I was taking the coat off, and this time I found about a 1" rip right in the middle of the back, where the hood meets the body. There's no seam where it ripped, so I don't see how it's structural aside from just delicate material. I apparently take off my coats by dropping the coat to the elbows and then reach across pull off the sleeves off from there. It puts a slight amount of pressure on the coat, but nothing unusual, and I think I've been removing my coats like this for years - no thought to it at all to it. This has never happened before, and that includes plenty of lighter jackets.I'm pretty bummed about this, since I like the jacket and want to keep using it. I've tried sewing the tear shut, and I'll see how that pans out. However, I don't think this should have happened. I'm thinking my next jacket won't be a Dickies.
