As a Dental Hygienist this is the best dental floss I’ve ever used. The only problem with it is the price. Way expensive!!

We compared 4 dental floss brands: CocoFloss, Dr. Tungs, Silk Floss and Reach. We had used Reach for years and were basically happy with it, though it did tend to shred badly at times. However, after reading that almost all commercial brands of floss are made with PFAs (forever plastics), which ultimately end up in your blood stream and vital organs, we decided to switch to a brand that was PFA free, including CocoFloss, Dr. Tungs, Silk Floss.Right out the gate, Silk Floss by SMARTLIFECO was a complete failure as many reviewers have noted. Unless you have gaps between every tooth in your mouth, Silk Floss will break at the slightest resistance. Useless.Dr. Tung’s Smart Floss is probably the best choice for most normal teeth. The container is flimsy paper, which though an environmental plus, is hard to pull from and falls apart when wet. This floss is similar to Reach but doesn’t shred as easily and has a nice feel, good performance and subtle cardamom flavor.CocoFloss is my personal favorite, though my wife could not use it at all because it was too thick for her. The floss is a pleasure to use and works for both large and tight gaps. It is robust, never shreds, unspools easily, and they claim the plastic container is re-useable, but I cannot find a way to order refills.

This has a cardamom smell and flavor that I had to get used to, which I now find pleasant. My dental hygienist recommended it to help me floss better since I don’t have tight spaces between my teeth. I use Dr. Tung’s nightly and love it more than the Glide options because it expands for a more thorough clean. My husband borrowed mine once when he forgot his Glide floss, and he noticed how much more plaque this got when flossing. It also comes in plastic free packaging without any sketchy chemicals.Note: Since this floss expands, it may shred and/or not work as well for teeth with tight spaces.

GREAT Floss in a Cardboard Dispenser. Really not sure what all the fuss is about. Americans are a bunch of sissies. This great!! floss comes in a cardboard dispenser that has a small metal “cutter”. Where is it written that floss needs to come to us in PLASTIC?Grow up! The cardboard dispenser works just fine, it’s eco friendly and the floss is DY NO MITE! 😊

I don’t often review things unless it is so good or so bad and this floss is sooo bad. It frays and shreds. I’m flabbergasted for the price that I paid. Just useless save your money!
