I bought this primarily to sort out an ongoing shoulder issue rather than doing pull ups. I didn't need the straps as I've got resistance bands already.Having read various reviews I opted for this model despite it being a bit more expensive.It was up and running out of the box within minutes, no assembly needed; just fold out the arms.The bar itself is well made and padded, no likely damage to the door frame as far as I can see. There are many grip options for use.What really surprised me was the quality of the straps, they are definitely something you'd expect to find in a gym and I'll probably find a use for these now as well.It might be a bit more expensive but this bit of kit will cover all your needs for upper body exercises.

This is well made of good quality materials. Very sturdy. Fits the door frame well. Easy to put up and take down. No assembly necessary. Folds flat of easy storage.

Spot on, well made with any different hold options.- remeber to measure doors (or space around the door) before purchasing as only works on a few of mine.. thankfully it works perfectly on the one i wanted it on.

I was looking purely for a chin-up bar but noticed this product in a side-by-side comparison with something more basic. I'm a gym member but lacking motivation and wanted something I can use at home that would give me a more convenient strength and fitness option. At present I'm using this product along with a couple of kettle bells for a relatively comprehensive full body workout at home, which might not have been possible with a more generic chin-up bar. I'm 13.5 stone and have no concerns about the item bearing my weight when I use it for press-ups, dips and chin-ups. It fits (as a chin-up bar) my doorframes and it folds away to dimensions that fit easily behind my bedroom doors. The foam grips are comfortable but will I assume wear away in time. For now though, the grips are holding up well. I also like the varying grip options, none of which create any significant additional bulkiness in my opinion. My only gripes are some slight looseness at some of the joints and between the bar and the plastic parts designed to reduce contact between the bar and door frames. These could do with being a bit tighter. Overall really pleased so far.

Very well made with no assembly necessary (the arms foldout and click into place). It's incredibly sturdy and it's design makes it's placement in a doorway absolutely rock solid. Suitable for someone just starting out or further along on their journey. Very pleased with the product, consider it good value money and will be highly beneficial to the callisthenic program I'm following. Highly recommended

I bought for my girlfriend as she was finding it hard to get time to go to the gym. She wanted this particular one as it had the bars coming out at 90 degrees, and also had a storage feature. She is no where near being able to do a pull up, but attempts them using her legs and can feel herself getting stronger. I tested it , I weigh 90kgs and could not believe how sturdy it was while doing the pull ups

This thing is super sturdy and well-built, not flimsy in the slightest. It folds up nicely so it fits under the sofa and out of the way. Another bonus is that it doesn't leave any scuff marks on the door frame. The straps that come with it are super useful too, as they do the same job as calisthenic rings, so it was a welcomed addition.

Great quality for the price, very sturdy and the straps are a great alternative for rings.
