The shorts were metallic gold when i bought them, but now (6 months later) they're more or less just yellow. The sizing is wrong since they were way too tight, though with a bit of wearing they loosened to just mildly snug. Too many size charts are wildly inaccurate. Also, even with the loosening, the backside of the shorts rides low on my rear. Bought these shorts along with a similar looking shirt (from another company) to be a matched outfit, but the change in the short's color killed that idea.
