Soviet WW2 Vintage Belt - Russian Military Surplus with USSR Belt Buckle - Men's Military Belts

Genuine Russian unissued belt and buckle
This is an absolutely original size large Soviet issue belt and buckle, not a cheap, imitation made-in-asia piece of junk I have seen elsewhere. The subdued buckle is made of steel painted an earth camo color as opposed to the dress uniform bright brass buckle. I own one of the brass buckles and wanted an original rubber coated cotton belt thinking I could just switch them out. Buyers who want to do something similar should be aware that there is a slight difference that makes such a substitute more challenging than one might expect but not impossible. The metal loops on the back where the belt threads through for waist adjustment is a looser fit on the steel buckle which makes threading the belt through the tighter brass buckle next to impossible. I was able to do it by carefully prying off the steel clip that covers the raw end of the canvas web belt before threading it through. It's still tight but now possible. If the clip is carefully removed, it can be replaced quite easily by squeezing it back in place. The belt can then be easily adjusted for waist size. Of course, one can simply use the original steel buckle without any modification if that is desired. I am very pleased with my purchase and can highly recommend this seller. Thank you.

Was not expecting this
Bought it thinking it would be cheap and just for costume but holy cow this thing is the real deal. Comes kinda sticky and smells like cosmoline which leads me to believe it’s actually legitimate surplus apparel. I like it so much I wear it as my regular everyday belt. Kinda tedious to tighten or loosen it since you have to take it completely off and tinker with it.I liked it so much I even bought a second one to keep stored in case I mess this one up.

Belt for small weast seizes
Good quality belt I like it seem strong but belt seize way to small seems like a 36 inch but says 42.6 I’m about 40 inch waste and can’t buckle it so will have to return it to bad

Very cool
It looks awesome. I have had a bit of a hard time adjusting it to the right size but I think once I wear it some it'll loosen up and adjust better. Very cool though

Beautiful Collector's Item
Belt arrived in mint condition as if it were brand new from the factory. The belt I recieved measured to around 44" in length and my bulgarian Makarov holster fit perfectly on it. It is adjustable as well, but I do not recommend purchasing this belt if you have a large waist. But if you're a millitary surplus collector it is perfect regardless. Highly recommend!
