Ironing board installed easily in new construction, is VERY sturdy, all wood where it needs to be, and swivels easily. Works GREAT if you have limited space for use and storage.

This product is extremely well made, the measurements are exact, and the wood is excellent! It was packed with lots of protection and there was zero damage from the long trip it made to get to us! Staining and installation went smoothly. It was perfect for the condominium we remodeled. It is beautiful and does not take up any space, perfect for a small living space! The manufacturers went above and beyond to get this to us in time. and we really appreciate it! I definitely recommend this product to everyone.

Caution! The bracket that holds the ironing board horizontal when in use can/will fail because the screws are too short. Our elderly friend cut her leg in September which continues to require a physicians wound care as it has to heal from the inside out.

I have put one of these in every home we ever owned. The oak finish is very nice if you wanted to stain it. We did have to buy different hard wear for the door. It was the wrong one for that door. But very sturdy and I think it looks great.

i love my Hideaway! I have built 4 homes and mu Hideaway goes in. Make sure the iron board is wood material rather than metal screen.

I had someone install it, so I don't know how difficult it is. It does fit between the studs in the wall so itis fairly recessed. I looked around and found them to be terribly expensive so this seems like it's well priced.You will need an electrical outlet nearby. It's great to be able to close it up and put it away. You will needto decide what height you want the board to be so don't just leave it up to someone else to decide.

This is my second time purchasing this product as I've moved into a new home. I recently ordered this however I made the mistake of not ordering the shaker style door and needed to return it. However, Lisa and team were quick to assist me with this as I had lined up a vendor to install within the following week. Super happy with the install, I still need to paint it so it "hides away" into the wall. I would recommend getting a professional to do the installation if you aren't really handy and don't understand how wall construction works. My only feedback to Hideaway is to bring back the product version that just is the ironing board without the depth for the iron to be stored. The reason is that version sticks out less from the wall and that would have been my preference if it was still available for purchase.
