As a sponge it works just fine. But I hung it in my shower for 1 week - fully suspended on all sides - and it never dried. I didn't wait longer for it to begin to smell like mold/mildew and it went in the trash.The others will be car wash sponges until they look icky and I'll trash those too. Oh well.

I actually fell in love with these body sponges! I had read some negative reviews but decided to give them a try anyway, and I am beyond happy that I did!! They haven’t fell apart on me at all, the layers are still the same, the sponge itself is in amazing shape & I’ve been using it for 2 months now. It’s not super “soft” per it’s a little rough but I think it’s to help remove any dead skin or really dirty spots. It isn’t super rough either, it’s just like the perfect mix. The colors are really pretty too! When they arrived, they came in one of those plastic bags that compress them with no air. I’ll admit I was super confused at first but once I cut it open, they turned nice and fluffy! I’m looking to order again! Definitely try this if you haven’t already!

i feel like a sedan...you just might end up singing about working at the car wash while scrubbing yourself down is all i am saying cos i have small hands + these were a bit much to handle--but for a more "standard" adult hand, these are probably great!rougher side of things as far as sponges go, so some light exfoliation. fun colors! it's a sponge 🤷🏻‍♀️

These sponges puff up and I am a rather large hand individual. It fills my grip and then some which is amazing. They come vacuum sealed so you will think it is bs at first. They feel good and have a good exfoliating "scrape". They don't hurt and I felt better than using my washcloth. I should've got sponges along time ago. I did read reviews saying they fall apart but that's not the case. Just use it the correct way, your washing a human body not a car. I prefer a firm sponge. This is it.

I ordered sponges like this a couple of years ago. Have no idea if they are from the same place. They look the same. These are larger and as they say in the south, rough as a cob. The other sponges were softer and had a slight rough side. These are rough all over. Great for exfoliating but all areas do not need exfoliating. The rough texture also doesn't hold water as well and doesn't foam up as well. I find I am using more liquid soap to get up a lather. I cut them down a bit as they were so very large. Might be good for a man's hand - a big man - but not for women. Cutting them down is easy, though. I very much doubt if they will last as long as the prior iteration. Not too happy with them. And if you buy them, don't be shocked if they come in a vacuum sealed plastic package. They WILL regain their proper size with a little water and time.
