We adopted a dog that had Pancreatitis & Severe Itching. (Full on Blood Poops - I hope no one ever has to experience....)Upon a Vet recommend, we initially tried Purina Pro Plan Forti Flora Probiotics. His poop firmed slightly [was not consistent day to day.], with his last relapse of blood poops occurring in September after being on it for a full month. It did nothing for his itching. He remained on that for a full 4 months with not enough improvement for cost. (Aug. 2024 through Nov. 2024)Then we switched to Bark & Spark Vet Strength Probiotics. Within 2 days his poop was better than ever before. Within 2 weeks his itching was minimal and his poops were perfect & healthy.He has been on Bark & Spark Vet Strength Probiotics since January 2025 - Present [April 2025]. - (4 Full Months of Use.)His itching had all but gone away, so much so, we forgot it was ever a problem. His Pancreatitis is gone. Perfect Poops every time, every day.I waited too long to reorder and he has gone 3 days without the Bark & Spark (It's arriving tomorrow.). His itching is back - he kept us up all night scratching.... that's when I realized just how big a difference this supplement has made for us and why I'm writing this review.Thank you Bark & Spark. I have four dogs, three of which eat poop. I've been giving them one chew per night and they eat it up like a treat. We've noticed there's far less poop eating happening at our house lately. There's the occasional one off where one of them will seem interested, but it's short lived and they tend to ignore poop now for the most part. I'm buying a second jar because this product has helped our household break the dirty habit. The chews themselves smell funky, but my dogs don't have any problems gobbling them up. My dogs also have sensitive tummies and this hasn't affected them at all. Great product and effective!

My dog loves the taste, she thinks I am giving her a treat☺️.I noticed improvement to my dogs digestive activities within 2 weeks.

I was so skeptical that this would work. My English Cream Golden Retriever has had gland issues since we brought her home at 12 weeks. She doesn't scoot, she licks and releases a horrid fishy smell. Our vet thinks it could be a bad habit. We have used Glandex. It is terribly expensive and she still had the fish smell sometimes. Glandex actually cost almost as much as her food! After 2.5 years i wanted to try something less expensive and hopefully more effective. Gland Guard seems to be it! We are almost at the end of her first 120 count container. She will occasionally still lick a little, but no smell or yucky discharge! I just ordered the second container. Hope this continues! It would be super nice if they could change the first inactive ingredient from CANOLA OIL ,which is a horrible toxin, to Olive, Coconut or Avocado oil please! I hate giving something I know is harmful to stop a problem. Glandex had it too. Otherwise, I will stick with it until I find something effective without harmful seed oils.

This stuff has taken the mystique out of poop eating. I give it to both my 10 year old dog and my 7 month old puppy. Puppy is no longer interested in poo. HUZZAH!!

This product works. Used it for a month on my allergic dog and she completely stopped biting her legs. However the second batch we got had a bad foul smell and unfortunately they don't do replacements. This makes me hesitant to re-order.

My dogs gut biomes were off and he would lick his paws constantly and had bad breath. After a week I don't see him licking nearly as much and his breath is way better. Will see in a couple months if it gets any better but so far I am pleased, so is Jacky!

Puppy developed a very nasty habit of trying to eat other dogs’ business. Gave this to both of them and ever since it’s almost completely stopped her. I have caught her once or twice still trying to eat it, but the majority of the time she’ll sniff and then ignore or walk away which gives me enough time to clean/pick up just in case. So this may not 100% stop it but definitely makes a huge difference and with time and making sure to watch them during potty breaks the behavior does start to die down. Definitely worth the purchase.
