Is the dwr permanent or is the wash in or spray on kind of dwr required after a few weeks?

The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) functionality of this garment appears to be built-in &/or a result of the (goretex infinium) fabric(s) utilized. The jacket seems to allow slow/sitting/stagnant water to pass through the fabric (allowing moisture / sweat to evacuate) & preventing moving water from passing through (Ex. rain, splashes, etc). Even when hand-washing the jacket the features of the fabric are apparent. I have other Gore windstopper products & have noticed any degradation of the fabric’s ability to repel liquids.

for what temperature is this designed

50’s with a tee shirt underneath 40s with a thermal underneath. When I’m riding pretty hard. That’s with long pants gloves and the gortex cap under my helmet. It’s not super warm but it stops The wind. I really like it.

Soft, comfortable, perfect layer for spring and fall

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Looks good and fits per the size chart. Excellent to stop the wind and keep you warm in a very soft and comfortable layer. I only wish it had pockets in the front.

Very Overpriced

Zip guards on both sides of the zipper are nice, but not worth the exorbitant price tag. There are many cheaper biking jackets that are no worse.
