It's a giant stick. What else is there to say?
The surface wasn't very smooth on arrival but I found that the splinters went away after use. Perhaps I inadvertently ate them and didn't notice.I've washed mine in the dishwasher twice now and it's been fine - probably not the best idea long-term but I'm lazy.So far have made noodles with it. The lack of handles is good for rolling large sheets and applying a lot of pressure. Also makes it easy to handwash and no crevices means no build up of food.

Awesome quality
Very good quality. Definitely not suitable for Grandma. It's quite large and heavy. Could double up as a very effective blunt force instrument if required.
