Good quality...And the cable's length too
A very nice product and of good quality too.Very useful for me while recording my Dj mixes live on phone..and because of its' cable length I can capture videos from different angles with my phone.

Just a note for other hasty buyers like me - this DOES NOT work with a standard Rode Lav mic - this is designed for the iphone version of the Rode Lav. So if you are looking for an extension cable to plug an exiting stand Rode lav into your camera/sound recorder, then this is not the droid you are looking for.

The best out of several "trrs" leads tried
I didn't expect to find much difference in an extension cable, but I've tried a few of these "trrs" style extensions and this was by far the best. This is expensive at nearly £20, but it does the job very well.There was noise introduced by many of these other leads, admittedly at a low level, but definitely audible (hum). This lead does not suffer the same issue. I cut open one of the "other" leads, and it was constructed correctly (properly shielded cable), but persumably the copper wasn't up-to-grade as it still performed badly.Not only does this lead perform well - it also is the the longest and the thinnest cable - making it much more practical to carry around.

Very good quality but - only for microphones and only for iPhone! Not for playback!
I bought this as a result of a search for a TRRS extension cable so that I could lengthen the chord on my iPone earphones and use for Zoom Meetings, etc. It does what it says in the description, but they seem to not have bothered to connect the return audio so no good for what I bought it for. Recording sound is good. I will keep as I also live stream and an extension for the mic I use for that would be good.

Didn’t work consistently
Bought it to extend my lavmic but was unable to use it as the sound wasn’t consistent. Could not risk using it for the whole recording. Very disappointed as I had to use my camera’s mic instead.

Perfect for my go-to microphone
Clean sound that works for video calls as much as recording webinars etc. Needed to get this adapter to use for recording videos so the recording can be direct to the mic instead of using a wireless mic.
