how would you jump a car with these installed?

I have a set - actually two sets- of these. One set is installed on one of my cars and the other set is sitting in the garage. I regret putting the first set on my car for this exact reason. Sure you can lift the cap half way but that's still not enough height to get jumper leads on to them, not to mention that by lifting the cap half way now the cable is not tight on the post of the battery anymore. Furthermore if you look closely at the photos, the battery cable has to be tiny to fit through the plastic cut out on the cap and to fit in the grooves of the screw down clamps. None of my cars battery cables were that small. For the car I did install this on, I just clamped it down tight but by no means did the cable actually fit in the groove. I should mention the car I did install it on has been sitting in front of the house now for over a month because the battery died and it's such a PITA to jump start a vehicle with these things installed, that I haven't bothered to take the time to do it yet. I would not recommend at all.

Wont these bend into shape over time and you lose the "click" or "snap" when pushing the cap down? basically, won't these loosen over time?

Well as with any product continual use will cause it to loosen up over time. I guess it all depends on how often you plan on taking them on and off. As an example I have two batteries that are in my boat that in the offseason I remove and put on my toy hauler. I have had no issues with mine so far

Does the positive terminal fit on an oem 2018 honda clarity plugin hybrid 12v battery post?

I gave googled images of the clarity batteries and going to have to say these will not fit as it has a specific connector no lead post these are for post style batteries, sorry

does it fit Acura RDX 2013 model?

Pretty sure they are universal. Fit my 04 mazda rx8

Covers the battery terminal well

This was a little hard to fit the positive terminal, not quite big enough. Used screwdriver an pliers to expand. Once it was on and closed, it covered the terminal so accidental touching couldn't happen.Was easy to open and close when fitted.

Excelent product so far 5 stars all the way

I bought these for use on my 99 ram 2500 diesel which uses 2 batteries, the cable connections are a tad bit small as they are clearly designed for a smaller vehicle, however i was able to make them fit and they work very well, however in my particular application on the driver side positive battery terminal this cannot be used because that is where the power from the other battery is joined together which combined exceeds the amperage rating of this product. but on the other 3 terminals they have worked very well. I use 2 AGM yellow top Optima batteries each @750 cca. i have already put 4000 miles on the truck since install with no problems. they clamp down on the terminal posts tightly and secure, and even with bumpy terrain and New England pot hole ridden streets they have yet to "pop up/ pop open" I love them.

Neat, orderly and fast install or winterizing

No tools needed after install and all wires can be taken off and installed on these eliminating the, where does this wire go" that happens with lots of aftermarket accessories. Liked it so well have one on boat and now camper. Easy to remove batteries st seasons end for storage and trickle charges in controlled environment
