What is the dimension of the 3oz container?

Well, if you look at the site with the dimension, it says 3.5 inches. Not quite. If you measure from lock tab to lock tab, it is 3.5 inches, but the INSIDE dimension is actually only 2 11/16th inches. Not quite big enough to hold a 3 oz can of cat food. Fooled me too! Also the inside depth is closer to 1 5/16th inches. Hope this helps.

When I open up the lock & lock container after floating in a cooler of melted ice, wil the lock & lock be filled with cooler water?

I used one this weekend for butter and it was floating around in the cooler water when we unpacked the cooler. There was not one drop of water inside the lock & lock container. I love these little containers!
