This is a fine niche tool
Do not compare this to a gasoline or electric pressure washer, those are violent sprayers that have their time and place. This DeWalt is a unique finesse spray washer that I'm glad I found. With a little pre-soaping this is the perfect tool to use to degrease your engine compartment without blasting things apart. Clean Venetian blinds laid out on the driveway. Wash widows, facia and soffits, clean post lamps and landscape lights. Wash reusable filters and screens, outdoor A/C coils....... in short, all those things that you don't want to blast with high pressure, and you will find out there are a lot of things that this is perfect for.Dewalt did not make a mistake with this tool, it serves well the niche that it was designed for.Notwithstanding all of the above, this pressure sprayer can, while attached to a garden hose with the turbo nozzle installed and set on high pressure, indeed do a decent job on decks, porches, bricks and concrete, albeit at a very much slower pace, but doable, especially on a small project, like say a shower stall or door slabs.I found this power washer, many times, keeps me from needlessly breaking out the gas monstrosity.

Very easy to use and portable
I use this for smaller cleaning projects that I don't want to go to the trouble of firing up my Stihl gas powered washer. It gets the job done on light to medium tasks like blasting algae or mold off my windows, as well as general things like car washing and blasting dog poop residue off my pool deck. The portability and light weight of this tool makes it a winner, for me. I have 3 of the 20v. batteries and that is great plenty for my needs. I own a DeWalt portable vacuum and one of their portable tire inflators, also. All use the same battery packs, which is a big plus for my needs.

Works well, easy to change over from soap dispenser to cleaning wand.
This atem arrived quickly in correct manufacturer packaging. The instructions are a little jumbled, but you can sort through them easily enough. I knew that this would not have the power of my gas pressure washer (1700psi), but it did really well cleaning my concrete pad front porch. I was a little let down by how it performed on a neglected and very dirty car, but still did a good job getting a lot of dirt out of the tiny crevices. It does go through batteries quickly. My 2Ah batteries last about 12-15 minutes, 4Ah battery will run 20 minutes, 5Ah will run about 30 minutes. Also be sure to provide support for the plastic hose connector when pulling the tool around; pull the hose, not just the tool. It's been noted as a weak point in other reviews, so a little care will help prevent damage.

Pass on this! Multiple defective units, customer service run around, requires additional purchase.
Long story short: be sure to test this unit as soon as you get it so you don't end up losing your money and getting the run around by customer service. If you don't have a Dewalt charger, you need to buy that too. I bought this pressure as a father's day gift, but my husband didn't use it for 90 days. When he did use it, it did not draw water effectively from the bucket and hardly sprayed. When you set the unit down, it leaks from the attachment (don't use indoors!). Because it was past 90 days, customer service told me to take it to a service center for repair (potentially at customers cost). I called and they said they don't service units under warranty. Contacted customer service again and they sent me a new unit. The new unit had the SAME problem! It appears the source of the problem is the hose connection. In order to get the most meager and sporadic sprays you need to put the bucket above the sprayer to leverage gravity. Then you need to secure the attachment with one hand while you try to spray with the other (like a phone charger cord that is loose). Even then, it leaks all over the place. The whole set up and clean up was an annoying hassle. Contacted customer service for the third time. They sent me back to step 1 - take the unit (now 2 units) to a repair center. I'm so beaten down at this point, I'm giving up and throwing both units in the trash. The time I've spent dealing with this is more the original cost of the unit. Summary: Don't take the risk with this product! If you use it once, and it works, but it breaks the second time you use it after 90 days, you will be out about $150 + battery, driving the tool all over town hoping the repair is covered by warranty, not to mention the time out of your life wasted with customer service run-arounds. Life is too short - the potential hassle of this tool is not worth whatever ease you think it will bring to your life.

Not as powerful as I thought
Bought this to clean my grill and smoker grill, it’s not as powerful as I thought it was, but it did do the job, just took longer than I thought it would. Was able to clean my wife’s carpet shampoo machine pretty quick though, so I’ll keep it.

works okay
i bought a 30 cheap pressure washer which had better pressure than dewalt. but the cheap model broke after i used it 3 or 4 times. it was a waste of time. so i bought the dewalt since i already had the batteries. it works decent. my battery seem to be fine. i washed my balcony and the battery still had energy. the pressure is not high like at a car wash. for small jobs it's good. and seems well built. it is much heavier than it's competitors.

Easy to use not noisy
Got my Dewalt pressure washer Saturday. Charged up my batteries Sat night and spent several hours Sunday PW my house, my truck and my deck. I have the larger 20v batteries and these lasted about 45 mins to 1 hour each. Overall easy to use. Got a 5 gallon bucket and filled it up but got smart after a few times of emptying the bucket so dropped my garden hose in it at a slow level to keep the bucket full. This is great for cars, my house, my deck. No lugging around my noisy gas powered PW. Plan to finish my deck next weekend.
