As a network technician, I've found the Visual Fault Locator 30KM to be an invaluable addition to my toolkit. Easy to lose part/adapters as there is no place to store them in light pouch
I have used this on many occasions and it worked perfectly. I wish it had a larger storage to be able to store the adapter and a fiber patch cable with the unit. Even if it was an addition item to purchase with this.

super bright
super bright! better than the one they give us. you can see it through the caps way better. worth the money for the time it will save me from looking for my dim ass lightFollow up: 9/15/25 - after using it, i find the battery compartment is hard to keep tight. It loosens up and the light goes out.

Okay laser for the price
Bought this laser in April. Worked great was used daily and kept in my reflection vest pocket, so it was put to work. Other end of fiber strand would shine bright so easy to see. Unfortunately after enough uses the orange cap broke off and exposed the silver cap where you connect your fiber to which ended up breaking next and became very lose. Now laser will not shine through unless you wiggle it and play around while connecting your fiber to the laser to find the “sweet spot”.Update: managed to buy a replacement plastic white tip and silver cap for the top of the laser from KELUSHI. Fixed the problem working back at 100%

Bright light
Very bright and easy to see if i have good light out of my connector or to see if fiber drop is kinked somewhere.

Built a little sensitive.
This is the 2nd one if purchased. My only complaint is with the power switch. It could be more defined and solid rather than like a slider that when bumped will turn on and deplete your batteries. Also the ferrules are sensitive and you will need to replace if you break it.
