This was useful while I recovered from radiation to the head and neck. I had a serious problem with swallowing thin liquids for a while and used this to thicken water and tea.

My son has difficulty drinking fluids and the packets mix well with liquid so he is doing well with these

Unlike Thick-It type products, you can mix this to desired thickness and it stays the same thickness .. it does NOT continue to thicken! Let it stand as long as you want, and it retains the same thickness. We love the convenient packets, available in various levels of thickening, for discrete restaurant use or to-go snacking. Highly recommended!

I'm so disappointed. It doesn't do as advertised. The powder doesn't fully dissolve so I am not giving this crap to my mom. I now have 2 boxes of this stuff that I can't return.

At the time I did not realize that the first ingredient was maltodextrin which has some side effect issues. Since I could not return item I threw it away. I liked the fact that it was tasteless and mixed very well and was not too thick.

Worthless... does not dissolve; whether hot or cold liquid, introduced first or last, sits in clumps at bottom of glass despite vigorous stirring. Must have gotten bad batch as other reviewers seem to be satisfied.

This product is a godsend for my mother! It is clear, tasteless & is the perfect consistency. Price is also great! These packets are great to carry if you’re on the road. To give my mom a change of scenery, we went on a drive. She got thirsty, so I stopped for a bottle of water & luckily I always carry a packet with me for this reason. Don’t hesitate to buy this. You won’t be disappointed!
