I’ve used many bulbs over the years and this is my favorite. I need high light output with some up firing lamps and previously I used cob style LED bulbs but they were so high that you could see the individual LEDs and blind you. This has nearly the same light output at a smaller height and the LEDs are encapsulated in a bulb that further diffuses the light. No more blindness and it looks way better!!!

If you need bright bulbs for whatever reasons, these will certainly do the job and being LEDs, they do notgenerate excess heat. Also, they are very energy efficient for the amount light generated. I use thesebulbs in shoot through umbrellas during photo shoots since they are so bright but also very light and easyto transport. Comparable photo specific bulbs costs way more and have slightly different color temp butwith these bulbs, knowing what the color temp is, I can make the necessary adjustments and make it workfine.

Easy to install in the garage ceiling socket, way better looking than a bare lightbulb, and very bright.

I bought a couple of style bulbs to test, I was looking for something 5000K and really, REALLY bright. I tested against some of the blade style lights, and was amazed at how bright this bulb is.The real downside of the blade style lights is that they directly expose the LEDs, making it painful if you look at it. This light has a cover that difuses the light a bit and makes it more pleasant.Amazingly bright and not overly large. Great for lighting a basement.

I bought the 2 pack for a garage light and one of the two only lasted 1 year. The garage lights are not on very often either. Did not last as long as advertised.Revised: the second bulb just burnt out last night. Horrible. I have a Feit bulb that has lasted almost 5 years already.

Thanks HongYi.These lights are very bright. The crisp white light and size of the housing is best suited for general, utility-type illumination needs, as the description indicates. Great for my unfinished basement; washer/dryer, tools, and work bench. I doubt the Wife would want one of these hanging in the ceiling fan or in a table lamp!10/23/2024 - Purchased on May 20, 2023. Bulb ceased to operate on October 23, 2024. It didn't stay on 24 hours per day, so that lifespan is FAR below the 25,000 hours listed the average life as in the description.I will attempt to contact the seller to see if they will honor the 2 year warranty, and what, if any, cost they require the customer to expend in return shipping. I'll update this later with the results.

These things are great and well worth the price
