Ingenious build, fantastic value
My nearly 5-year-old built this almost entirely herself with a little help from me on the gear mechanism and decal application. I would consider her a bit advanced as far as dexterity and spatial reasoning skills are concerned, but I think most kids in the 5 to 6 age could handle this despite the 7+ rating. There are so many new-to-me pieces in this kit, having grown up with LEGO in the late '80s to late '90s, it's pretty neat to see how far things have come. It almost feels like cheating! But only in the sense that I wish I had access to these pieces back then. There's also a great balance of standard/Technic/specialty bricks, all held together by incredible build techniques. The two-in-one aspect seals the deal, sets like these are such great values and my kid and I really enjoy our time together working through the details.

Smaller than expected
Cute and fun to build but smaller than I expected. My fault for not paying attention to the description. Good value for the money.

Do you have a smart kid?
This is darn cute! I bought it for a Christmas present for my 5 yr. old grandson thinking I could help him put it together. I’m afraid it’s a little advanced for me, ha ha. He was actually able to put a lot of it together and then his father had no problem completing it and putting on the finishing touches and they had a ball doing it together.

I'm sure it was great
I cannot give a feedback on an item I paid 89 dollars for and never received for my grandson that Christmas
