I have a small tear in the back of a Mountain Hardwear jacket, will this help repair it?

I think so. I repaired a nylon parka with it last week. It was easy to apply and stuck tight.

Do you think this would work to put on the inside of my running shoes to patch a hole in the mesh where my big toe pushes through?

It may work if you placed one piece inside and another on the outside allowing the two pieces to "weld" the hole in your shoe.

It sounds like this will work great for a tear in my nylon down jacket. Can it be dry cleaned, though? The jacket is dry clean only.

Not sure about a dry clean only jacket. It worked wonderfully on the small tear in my down jacket.

Would this seal a hole in the liner cloth on the back of the heel in my walking shoes? It would have to adhere to the cloth lining of the shoe.

The black and the clear/transparent tapes are amazing. I used the black to cover a small slit and it is invisible. You cannot even see that there is a tape. I also use the clear tape on an orange windbreaker type jacket and it also worked beautifully. Simple to apply! I highly recommend this product.

Hatte in meinem Zelt ein kleines Loch. Hat mich nicht sonderlich gestört, bis die Ameisen das Loch fanden. Kleber drauf, patch drauf. Top. Bis jetzt hält es alle insekten draussen. Bei Regen bis jetzt auch keine Probleme.

such a great idea and so far so good. just stick on to cover holes in black rain jacket. used the transparent patches on the light colours inside of jacket and black patch on exterior. seems to wash fine. size good
