Far superior to Equilibrium for planted aquariums wanting PH 7
My tap water stinks. I buy RO water and remineralize it to PH 7 with ideal GH and KH around 6-8 degrees. I tried Equilibrium products first, and it was a huge struggle. Equilibrium, plus the acid and alkaline buffers to add, that would not dissolve for several days. Measure it on day 1, get the PH you had calculated you should, but still lots of white particulates in it. Stir stir, let it sit, Measure it subsequent days and watch the PH continue to climb up in the bucket to over 8. Measure it in your tank and see PH 8+.. perhaps Equilibrium works with a constant influx of CO2, but not for my low tech tank. (I have 4 with various substrates from sand, gravel, and caribsea flora-max.. same problem in all of them)Saltyshrimp is amazing. Calculate it, add it (2 scoops to the inside line to 5G for me), it dissolves immediately, parameters as advertised in the bucket AND in the tank. It has made my weekly water changes far less stressful, and water conditions far more stable. Im not sure why its not more widely available, but I guess not many want to struggle with RO unless they need to.

Great for Neocaridina
This is pretty much the go to product for anyone keeping neocaridina species. Start with good RO or RO/DI water, follow the directions and you will be good. For me, 2 1/4 scoops to 5 gallons of RO/DI in one of those blue drinking water containers gives me the perfect parameters for my red cherry shrimp- pH 7.2, KH 3, GH 6 via API Master Test Kit. TDS runs about 180 with a super cheap HM TDS-3 unit that I calibrate every month or so. I notice a few reviewers haven't had the same success with this product. I put an airstone in the 5 gallon jug to mix and aerate for at least 3-4 days before using for water changes. I don't know if that makes a huge difference or not in terms of stabilizing water parameters, but I always get a consistent reading this way within the parameters I seek, and it never hurts to age your water. What I do know is that pretty much every top shrimp keeper on YouTube uses this product and swears by it. I have followed their advice so far and done well. Good luck and happy shrimping!

Shrimps are thriving!
This stuff is awesome, and a little goes a long way! My shrimp colony was at a stand still. They weren’t dying but they weren’t breeding either, when I was using tap water! Switched to RO and these minerals and now they are thriving and breeding! I keep the TDS at 280 PPM. Out of the tap, the TDS was about 450 PPM! Key is to gradually change the water parameters. If water parameters drop too quickly, it will shock the shrimp.

Good product, wrong spoon size!
This product is great... if you're using the correct amount. I followed the directions exactly, using 1 spoonful to mix with my 10 liter jug of RO/DI. I couldn't figure out why my KH and GH were registering so high every time. Well, turns out the spoon that was included with mine is exactly 4 grams, not 2.Instructions say "an evenly full measuring spoon (about 2 g) to 10 litres of water is sufficient. Measuring spoon enclosed."

Great for my Red Crystals, Amanos, fish and plants
I use this in 2 tanks: one with amano shrimp and another with red crystals. It works great! The shrimp are all very healthy looking and are able to molt well. Our tap water is very soft (30-50 TDS) so we just treat it and add a bit of GH+ every change. Both tanks have fish in them: tetras, corys, and plecos. All of them seem happy and healthy. Even our plants look much healthier. Couldn't be happier.
