Works wonders for my Plantar Fasciitis
I have Plantar Fasciitis in both feet, have had it for about 10 months because I was stubborn and didn't know what it was and just keep "plowing forward" until I finally went to a podiatrist because I was almost to the point where I really couldn't walk by the end of the day. The podiatrist didn't really offer much treatment other than using ice and getting a custom insert for my shoes and possibly cortisone shots or surgery in the future (NOT and NOT!!!) and he certainly did not mention anything about getting a brace. So I started perusing the internet since I am now desperate to get this fixed. Found out that wearing a brace during the night to keep my foot at a 90 degree angle would help with the morning pain. I was skeptical but desperate. So I now put ice on my heels several times a day, I have stopped walking unless absolutely necessary to give it a chance to heal, and I ordered 2 different night splints to see how they worked. Well the first morning I stepped out of bed I could not believe it - - NO PAIN for the first time in months and months!!I purchased this night splint and another one that is more like a plastic "boot", and have been wearing them on alternate feet for over a week to test each one out. I prefer this one because it works just fine and is much more comfortable and not as big as the boot. The boot is more "stable" - - it really holds my foot in place, but I have found that doesn't matter - - even though this splint allows my foot to move around, it still is keeping my foot at a 90 degree angle and is doing the job. Its not as "hot" as the boot and it doesn't have to be strapped on very tight - - I hate the feeling of being "confined". I have determined that the "boot" made me wake up much more often than this splint, so this splint wins! I just ordered another one today, and I am going to kick the boot to the curb. This one is the winner!UPDATE 2 YEARS LATER: Well this helped alleviate the morning pain, but the only way I finally got rid of the plantar fasciitis was through physical therapy, and the Graston Technique (look it up on youtube). I would still recommend using this boot as long as you are still suffering but I also recommend seeing a good physical therapist who is familiar with all of these techniques for PF and also this is important - - you must always do the foot/leg exercises to keep the rest of your foot muscles strong, and you can never ever go barefoot or wear cheap flip flops again, you must wear shoes with a good high arch (look up Vionics on Amazon -- expensive but your health is worth it!) or get good high arch support inserts for your shoes (look up Spenco RX Orthotic on Amazon, they are little green wonders!) Hope this helps!

It’s ok so far
I’ve got a wide foot, take a size 9, high arches and my calves are on the large side. I went back and forth between a large and small and finally went with the small.I have pretty bad plantar fasciitis in my right foot and I can’t be off it for more than 30 mins. When I get up it’s like the bottom of my foot is broken until I work it out. Severe pain. I had a dorsal brace decades ago and it was the only thing I could sleep in so that’s what I went looking for.I got it today (11/10) and put it on immediately. For the most part, it’s comfortable. I can walk in it but wouldn’t do so other than getting up to get something and go back to sitting or laying down. Cushioning is good (for now). As you can see from the pictures, it’s not really stretching or laying flat on my shin. I’d probably have to tighten the straps so much, it would dig in and possibly cut off circulation. The curve for the shin is definitely for a smaller leg, but it’s not that big of a deal. Lots of cushion there so it’s comfortable. My foot is definitely being held up but not a good 90° angle. Be careful with the Velcro and line it up. If any hangs over it’s going rub and cut into your skin.I’ll update this review after I wear it for some time.

DRAMATIC improvement in just 2 uses!
This splint does not hold the foot in as much ankle dorsiflexion as many of the boot style night splints, and some have commented that this makes it inferior.Well, I'm here to say the opposite.I've have had plantar fasciitis for 3 months, and have tried icing, shoe inserts, stretching and a boot style night splint. All with only minimal improvement. The problem with the boot style splints is that they hold the ankle at a fairly steep angle. After 1-2 hours, I regularly woke up in agony -- usually under my toes, from the ball of my foot being pushed into the fabric of the splint. Some mornings I'd wake up with the splint off, in the corner with all the velcro still attached and no idea how I Houdini'd out of it in my sleep! The reason this product works is because you CAN actually tolerate wearing it all night. Better to have something holding your ankle at nearly neutral dorsiflexion for 8 hours than at neutral for 1 or 2! I have used it for 2 nights, and have noticed ~ 70% less morning pain than before. I'm a seasoned athlete who's trained at a very high level for many years, so I am no stranger to chronic injuries. Never have I seen such a dramatic change in such a short time. I write very few reviews for items like this because I realize how individual many injuries are. But this really inspired me to share. The splint is much smaller and lighter than boot style splints, which makes it ideal to take traveling and less cumbersome while sleeping. I could see where it might not be as effective for people with very small feet, but because the product's velcro straps are adjustable, it seems like it should be possible to tighten the toe section enough to secure most feet. If not, the addition of some padding on the bottom part of the toe slip would probably do the trick.Highly recommend trying this product if, like me, you've had trouble tolerating the boots long enough for them to work!

Velcro is NOT QUALITY! AND cloth straps are NOT QUALITY EITHER
I bought on March 18th 2025 and it's literally May 1st 2025 and the velcro is useless. I literally have to tape the straps so I can utilize this brace. It's a great brace especially for people with drop foot, but durability is definitely Not the best. So with that being said make sure you have extra straps if not you'll be taping the straps so they stay fastened. I have ordered 4 of these over past 1.5years and this is by far the WORST from this company. The straps on this brace have a narrow width at best 1inch while the velcro on the end of the strap is 1.25inches..I need this brace but I am disappointed majorly.
