Its a good product. I used it to clamp corners for a pine box 2'x4' with 3/4" thickness. However - and this is important - these clamps are not designed for that kind of weight. They are designed for picture frames or any box that is lightweight.

I wouldn't try it. The right angles are fixed so it can't adjust to different thicknesses. They are only good for picture frames.
