Does the job but.....
Extension cable is of good quality and a great aid if you want to split your run of lights into two. However, if you have the new style lightstrip plus with a molded power pack, this cable will only allow you to split your lights at the end of the 2 metre strip that comes with the Hue product. This is not clear from the product description. If you want to split the lights near the power pack by cutting the cable you will need to buy a cut end to female connector. From what I can see Litcessory do not make one of these so I had to buy an adapter from another supplier to get the configuration I required.

A must have for complex lighting setups!
Great products, really! purchased a 2m hue strip and extension, Using this product and this companies other products I was able to cut the lightstrip down, use splitters to split the power and route extensions over the cabinets in our kitchen, I now have a strip light under the units near the floor and have one additional small light strip (from the extension and the cut off) as under cupboard work lights for my work surfaces. They suggest you do not extend too much but my total length must be about 12 meters. I used two, two way splitters to provide three outputs, then a 3m extension strip, the 2m lightstrip and some additional lengths for the counters. If you want simple under cupboard lighting and do not want the hassle of installing cabling to route to a master switch, and want to be able to switch them on remotely, these are awesome. Not cheap but well worth the money, fantastic quality!

Does what it promises. Cheap alternative to reach difficult spots
Overall I liked the product a lot. I've bought the extensions to reach two cabinets that aren't adjacent to the main counter, and the connection was good. The only enhancements I'd like to see are 1) the connections are kind of lose, they should be more firm (and don't disconnect so easily at the slight movement) and 2) the ends could come signalized (e.g. a black/red mark in one of the sides, to indicate the installation side (you can fry up your main LED connecting inverted - I did and fortunately it just shut off for few minutes). Other than that, great product. Thanks.

Must have for Hue lighting strips.
Philips should make these but they don’t. Allowed me to extend my light strips and fit mood lighting above and below my kitchen cabinets with ease. Great product and hats off to the manufacturer for coming up with an original and genuinely useful product.

Incompatible
This product was incompatible with the Philips Hue light strip - see it on the right compared with Philips Strip and connector on left

Great quality product that outshines the Philips product itself and great customer service!
These guys are great - providing products that Philips should be producing themselves - excellent quality product (looks more sturdy than the Light-strip itself) and with good connectors on either end. Customer service from them has also been excellent when I have had issues (with Philips, not with this product) and I would be happy to purchase from them again.

Only get these if you’re lazy
These are handy but super expensive for what you get. They could include a few extra pin adapters to enable you to daisy chain them. But then again, they would lose money as you wouldn’t have to buy a separate pack of pins. My advice would be, if your good at soldering, and patient, use an rj45 cable to connect your light strips. I should’ve done that but bought these for the convenience. I still had to do a load of soldering so not really convenient.
