Tests speak for themselves...
First let me state a little history about myself... I've been heavily involved in the audiophile/Hi-Fi enthusiast realm for around 17 years. I've befriended some high ranking people from companies such as Klipsch, Earthquake Sound, Monster and Martin Logan.I have owned very high-end audio equipment from many companies, critiquing my preference as I go. I have equipment that tests data loss, signal transfer and interference of cables, connectors and speaker wire which is how I have come to appreciate certain companies. I have always gone with Monster cable products because the readings speak for themselves. Monster delivers routinely consistent numbers across all categories.I decided to step out of my realm of comfort with this mediabridge Y-splitter and test the signal transfer and interference from the source to my two subwoofers. I first tested the source material at the subwoofer pre-out female rca jack on my Sherwood Newcastle receiver. I then added the Y-splitter and tested both female ends individually for fidelity, signal strength and interference. The mediabridge Y-splitter passed with flying colors. Signal transfer and fidelity were perfect from source to subs with no detectable interference. This could not be said about the Cables 2 Go brand which failed two of the tests. There was one other brand here(sold on amazon) which is slightly higher in price than the Cables 2 Go brand which failed only the signal transfer test losing around 19% signal strength...Conclusion; The Mediabridge Y-splitter performs on all 3 fronts: signal transfer, fidelity AND shielding. This brings the product quality up to par with Monster Cable. You will not lose ANY quality with this Y-splitter, the tests speak for themselves... At only $9.99 for a product of $25 value, how can you lose?

These are very nice.
Disclosure: this is a sort of cut-n-paste, duplicate review as I had already submitted a review for the 1-female to 2-male "Y" connector.Yes, you can find cheaper. Personally, I can't stand cheaply made RCA "Y" adapter cables that cost a dollar or three. Other then they don't float your boat and no, the cheaper versions do not float my boat, there's no good reason to not use the cheaper versions as they work equally as well. But pride of ownership demands I use something better and Mediabridge products do exactly that.I agreed that interconnects don't have to be expensive and I find these cables hit the middle ground perfectly as they're not what I consider to be expensive nor are they what one might call cheaply made and they're definitely less expensive then the "Monsters" being sold at big box electronic stores. The cables look great and when in hand, my first impression was, how professionally made this product felt. The cables are heavy duty, with color coded molded ends that are gold plated to reduce corrosion. The cable's "Y" is reinforced and overall the set has a nice, heavy, professional quality feel that tells the purchaser, they made the right decision. The overall length of the "Y" adapter is fifteen inches. In the simple, these are well priced, Prime Membership delivered, quality made, professional looking, "Y" adapters that expectedly will last for years if not outlive the purchaser of these cables. I've had a couple of these for a few months now and have used them for connecting/disconnecting a Home Theater based subwoofer system (I move the subs around a lot) and they're what I consider to be a "GREAT!" product, at an excellent delivered price that from personal experience, I feel completely comfortable recommending for stage or home use.Hope the above helps with your buying decision.

solid quality
Solid quality interconnect ... don't be duped by expensive alternative rabbit-hole cable claims: this Mediabridge does the job just splendidly, and it is well-constructed.

Simply Works Well! 4 Stars!
Mediabridge makes some really good product lines and this review is in conjunction with 2 other current reviews for Ugreen and BlueRigger A/V Digital and Analog cables. The Y-Adapter has 1-Male to 2-Female RCA audio plugs, that are color-coded (Purple + Red/White) molds to make it a no-brainer and an EZ cable handling experience. This is another one of those "hard-to-find" cables in our region.A Digital/Coaxial Y-Adapter and connector - on the back of your DVD player, subwoofer or HDTV and usually in-between your Video connectors and the Analog RCA connectors is a small section called, “Digital Out”, and will have a Female “Coaxial” plugin connector on one side and a Female "Optical" cord plugin connector on the other.Legend - Coaxial, and Optical (Audio) cords /end connectors are synonymous with the term 'Digital'; however, their Male end connectors have different by Design, FYI. Whereas, RCA connectors are considered to be "Analog" for A/V uses. What is it used for? This Y-adapter is for the Coaxial Digital Out connector and the other end is for the RCA cable to complete the Audio system component, like from your DVD player to your HDTV, or a sub-woofer to your TV, etc.Simple, EZ to setup, self-explanatory.Done!
